Speaking from experience, it's really hard to predict how a back is going to respond to anything. You can take any number of hard hits to it and it's fine, and then be incapacitated reaching for a glass of water.
West's problem has been stated a pinched nerve. It'll hurt like any time that nerve is tweaked, which might only be possible with a certain amount of stretch, a certain amount of twist, etc. Aka, while it's likely he was in a constant amount of pain throughout the game, re-aggravating it was just a complete fluke that no one could really predict and target.
I hate those 2 ers on the radio. One can't hang the other jixs us in game 6.
