Karma is a . Hear this, Spur fans, game 7 will not bode well for you guys. Home team wins game 7 73% of the time, and i'm sure if you guys do manage to win there will be a retaliation foul. Good luck beating the Lakers without one of the big 3!
You probably need to get teabagged.. you haven't had any in some time

I can see it now. 5 minutes left of the clock in game 7, Spurs are up 18 this game is over. Just before Pop can pull out his starters, Duncan takes a vicious elbow to the temple from Chandler. He is carried out of the arena on a stretcher, the Spurs go on to win the game. Later that night we learn that Tim Duncan was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m.
    I killed a guy with a trident.

Just saying, If Melvin Ely happens to subtly slide his foot under Duncan's ankle in game 7, I'm going to ask you if you still feel that way afterwords.
    Ely isn't a Spur anymore.

You mean how the refs basically handed u the series in 06 with some questionable calls late in game 7, and gave Dirk everything that series on a silver platter........yet in the Finals, Dirk couldnt buy a call, nor could the rest of your team.....yet Wade shot nearly 100 FTs in the 6 games.....that kind of Karma?

Or how Cuban mistreated Nellie....and then Nellie too 8 seed Golden St into an upset over 1 seed (67 win) Dallas....that kind of Karma?

Or how the Hornets beat the Mavs in 5 games this year and got your coach fired....and your savior PG got abused by Paul....that kind of Karma?

If the Spurs lose game 7, so be it. They had a great year. And we can still celebrate those 4 NBA les. We can also celebrate the fact that we ended the Nones season again, and made it farther than the Mavs and Rockets.

If the Spurs win, we move on to the WCF again.....and move one step closer to that elusive repeat.

If he does it on purpose yeah I will be pissed, if it just happens on fluke which happens when players go for a rebound no!

Horry didn't do it on purpose!

My point is, if he does nobody here will be willing to accept coincidence any more than hornets fans are right now.

I thought Horry certainly did it on purpose. Did he intend to injure West? I doubt it, but he certainly leaned into him.

there's no reason for horry to even take the court anymore, he doesn't make shots, and his D consists of fouling. even Bonner would be an improvement

Since Ely has been hakcing players all series long, nothing would surprise me.

And it wouldn't make me not like Horry, so it's not a good question.

It's garbage. If some people would watch the play again without the dunce cap you would see Horry was only setting an improvised screen for Ginobili who was about to start a drive to the baseline. Horry figured he could block West from giving help defense on Ginobili's drive and set a screen. Nothing more. He was basically playing like an offensive lineman making sure his guy had a clear driving lane which I've seen done 100 times in the NBA. If any Hornet's player was in West's position they would have gotten the same screen. It's so obvious it's ridiculous how anyone could miss it.

If Duncan were to go down in game 7 and Hornets fans gave it a standing ovation, half the fans in here would be lining up to march over to new Orleans and burn it down, regardless if it was a clean play or not.

Just trying to create a little perspective.

so since NO has classless fans, we should be classless too?

Supporting Horry is knowing he did nothing wrong, but cheering when a player is hurt has never been our cup of tea.

Regardless, the cheering was wrong, but I was over it in a few seconds.

I think West will be fine. The game isn't until Monday, after all. I don't think what Horry did was malicious, but the fans cheering is just disgraceful.
Yeah, I definitely agree on both. The Horry foul was not malicious at all, and the injury definitely sucks.

I was actually glad ESPN went to commercial immediately so the national audience couldn't hear that .

He's going to be ok in game 7 - his team was being blown out of the court and he decided it was best to delay the game a little bit and play possum to get the out and drink some pepsi. all fake.
What the was West even doing in there? Spurs were blowing 'em out, West was stinking it up all night, and, on top of all that, he was already playing with an injury.

As long as the hit was clean I have no problem with it. I guess we can call him Horry McSorley now. Sorry about the chant; hope that doesn't happen again.
