    It's easy for the LA crowd to affect the Vegas books. By car, it's only 4 hours away or less if you drive fast like me. Having said that, I remember when the Spurs were 15-1 underdogs in 03 and I took that future bet and walked away from Laker fans ripping up their futures bets. Me...I smiled knowing that DRob retired a champ and 15-1 paid really well.

    nice way to cash that 03 ticket!

    There are quite a few people with a Boston 50 to 1 ticket this year. Supposedly, they got it days before the KG trade went down, when they heard the rumor speculation about it and the sportsbooks couldn't adjust the odds in time.

    You can't blame the odd makers. They're dead on.

    The Spurs will be dismantled easily by this Lakers team. As a Golden State fan it kills me to say that as I hate the Lakers, but I'm a realist and there's no way the Spurs win this series.

    You're in for a rude awakening once they lose in five games.

    I know you love your team and all, but deep down you know inside that this Laker squad gives you guys problems. It won't be an easy cakewalk and I expect Kobe to be an enforcer and go nuts on you guys like he's done in the past.

    I'm just stating my unbiased opinion so don't roast me for it. I'd like to see this series go 7 and provide me with a little entertainment, but I just don't see it happening.

    Btw, I hope your wife doesn't know you're betting on the Spurs to actually win this series. If she knows anything about basketball(and not a homer Spurs fan) she'd absolutely put you in the doghouse!

    The only time the Spurs faced the Pau Gasol Lakers this year, Manu was out.

    Truth is, nobody knows how this will play out, not even Vegas.
