The Laker bench is playing well tonight. If the Spurs have a chance, their bench has to step up, they haven't given anything to the game yet.

The Lakers came out with a purpose in the first half.. we need to keep up the defensive effort! Sasha is really owning Manu.
manu is owning himself... he can do a better job with our without sasha on him. I don't think he feels confident right now.

Pop is Phil's , has been and is continuing to be.
I don't disagree if you want to say Phil > Pop, however if the two coaches changed teams Phil wouldn't be able to do anything if Sasha > Manu.

Oh this has nothing to do with POP come on, Pop can't make Manu get healthy or Tim to hit FT's
You're right, I'm sure Manu wanted to be out on the court with Vaughn, Finley, Horry, and Oberto. I.e., four guys who can't shoot for that the Lakers had no qualms leaving wide open to double and triple team Manu.

    That's purely on Ginobili

it, we got blasted in 1:30 min
That's nothing...the Spermacides better show up during the first 4 minutes of the 3rd quarter or they're gonna get torched like the last 5 minutes of game 1's 3rd quarter.

You're new here, so I'll clue you in. It's not that the people here are looking for a reason to give up on the Spurs.

Many of us just remember Pop crawling up into the fetal position against Phil in the playoffs before. We know the signs, and it's happening again.

Panicked subs ution patterns that don't make any sense, over reliance on veteran role players in the face of adversity, not trusting his young but fearless role players (i.e. Ime), and stupid ass plays like putting Vaughn in the corner to shoot threes, set plays to run Bowen off a double screen for a jumper, etc.

This team is done. Pop is Phil's , has been and is continuing to be.
Your routine is very very tired. Every time the Spurs lose or are losing you blame it all on POP. Why don't you give the Spurs your resume and get to work you obviously think you can coach better than he can.

Comes down to if Manu is going to get abused on both ends of the court by Sasha f'ing Vujacic, the Spurs have no chance.
    That's clearly a x-factor, now Vujacic >>> Manu

Not that Manu is not helping the team, now he's hurting our chances!

Spurs still got this. If they get half of normal Manu back, we got it. If we get him back by next game, we'll still have this series.

It'd be nice if he came back tonight though.
Normal Manu is NEVER coming back! Atleast not for the duration of this series!

Seriously...a root canal would be less painful than watching the Spurs right now

He doesn't have it. Something happened to him between game 7 and now he has nothing out there. Any Laker fan that thinks it is their D that is doing this has never seen Manu play. He never plays like this in the playoffs, NEVER
Well, he has played for 2 straight games. I wish him well but he does not deserve to be out there if he turns the ball over, travels, or plays no defense.
I mean Luke Walton crossed Manu and Ginobili looked like the worst defensive player in the nba.

If this team is going to play like , then they deserve to be called out. The whole "if you criticize your not a fan" bull gets old. These guys are sucking it up out there, plain and simple.

Kobe is the MVP, so he can elbow Bowen in the jaw and hit Duncan across the arm and not get a foul. Jordan rules baby. Someone needs to put a knee into his thigh and mess him up good.

Ginobili is not even close to 100%. Not even close. SA is very ordinary and can't win this series if things don't change. Of course, the media will talk about the greatness of the Lakers even though an all league player is seriously hurt.

It pisses me off that we are not giving the annointed lakers our best shot, because our best shot is good enough to beat them.

Horry doesn't have it. Unless he's going to blow up Kobe on a pick, there's no reason for him to be in the game. Give Kurt Thomas some run, what can it hurt at this point? We aren't getting from Oberto and Horry (combined 2 points, 3 boards in 20 minutes).

This is not about the LAKERS. They ain't playing worth . The Spurs just can't throw it in the ocean...little to do with defense. Everything to do with Spurs not being able to hit open shots.

Been that way all year tho. Lack of Offense...lack of offense...lack of offense.
