This is a brutal beat-down... Lakers are showing why they're the real dynasty of this era.
Bull F'ing . Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Lakers did not make the PLAYOFFs three years ago and did not get out of the first round the last two years. The Spurs have won four championships in the post Jordan era and have won at least one playoff series every year Duncan has been available for the playoffs.

I'm just sorry Ginobili got hurt in the NO series and the NBA implemented a stupid schedule custom built for the Lakers to take advantage of the Spurs lack of rest and recovery.

If the Lakers advance, I really think a ******** is in order.

I think we may get game 3 because Lakers may not come in focused but with Manu hurt like this we can't beat this team. I had no idea he wasn't capable of giving the Spurs anything coming into this series with that bum ankle. With him hurt like this we have no shot, he needs a miracle recovery or forget it.
Maybe, maybe not. But Manu definitely shouldn't be on the court if he has nothing to offer.

Dude, 75% of the people in here saying it's over are Spurs fans, asshat!

The sooner you realize we're not the Spurs, the better off you'll be. We're not a team of just 1 point guard throwing lobs to the same guy all game. You guys need to recognize that.
You needed almost 7 games to beat the Utah Jazz, the same JAzz we beat in 5 last year. You are up 2-0 mainly because Manu is hurt pure and simple.

Tim didn't give a in the season, and now he can't get the team to step it up.

It's Tim's team, his franchise, don't forget, like the Lakers are Kobe's. win or lose, it's Tim's team.

Super, Spurs get to 70 pts in WCF game.

That last series looks like it took just about all of it out of em.

They might be able to grab some games at home, but they just look tired as .

This isn't high school sports (or even college). There is no such thing as "Running it up" in a professional sports league where the athletes are multimillionaires.

A healthy Manu and this series is over in 5.

This is a daunting task. The Spurs have to win without a big cog, and if they do that just shows how much heart this team has.
A healthy Bynum and this series is over in 4 - since Bynum is out & Genobili is slightly injured - it will be over in 5 (Spurs go fishing).

    Wow. That was awful.

I would trade any of our players (except Duncan) for the Lakers guy at the same position.
    Farmar & Fisher > Parker
    Vujacic > Ginobili
    Bryant > Bowen (no contest)
Odom > Fabricio and anyone else

Regarding the Spurs' plane situation, Knicks President Donnie Walsh has sent his plane for the Spurs to use, and told them they could use it for the rest of the playoffs. Hahaha, based on this game, pretty fitting. Spurs, Knicks, what's the difference right about now?
To bad all the little re ed children are allowed access to computers. Take your medicine and go to bed. Better yet, why don't you OD on your medicine and go away for good.

You would be on E too if you had to come back to win a series on the road in 7, had to sleep in a charter jet aisleway on the way to another team's homecourt. They need their rest like any other people would.

Parker and Gino are vastly superior to those guys (though they haven't played like it in this series). You are crazy.

The difference between the teams is 1) the Lakers' best player is better than the Spurs best player, and 2) the Lakers 4th-10th guys are far, far, far better than the Spurs'.

You don't "run up the score" with scrubs. Sure, if Kobe, Lamar and Pau were still in that would be running up the score. The Laker scrubs are just making shots even though they're screwing around with Lobs.

Parker too. I'd take Fisher or Farmar over Parker.

The Lakers are that much better at every position except PF, and they're not that far behind at PF.
