about the lebron shot: the ref do him a faver with the no call, tha spurs was up 3 and the foul was a 2 shot foul so they give him possibility 3 point shot that was much more better for the cavs
Pause it at .24, his feet was clearly behind the three point line. That foul was even more blatant than Fisher's. If the refs aren't going to bail Lebron out in the end, they definitely won't bail out Brent Barry.

Blame Barry for moving out the way. Barry said it was the right call, so did Duncan and Popovich. Stop crying because Fisher's shot hit the rim so you shouldn't have even been that predicament.
Tony got fouled the previous play, so what's your point? both the foul on Tony and Fisher's shot were not obvious to the oppossing side. The foul on Barry was a joke. However, LA deserves major props for the game they played. they did what they needed to do, I just wish Joey Crawford didn't think he was God. Lakers don't deserve any of the taint, but the NBA does.

The whole "let the players decide the game" is BS.

If that foul was called, the game was not won because "the ref decided the game". It would have been because FISH made a stupid defensive play and because BARRY made FT's. The ref would have been doing his JOB, to make the right calls. The ref never decides to the game, the players always do, by fouling, making shots, missing shots, etc.

Until a ref randomly comes out says "hmm....i'll say........[insert nba team here] win game!, refs do not decide the winner.

not even close. Suns fan swear they are the better team, even till this day. LA is proving to be the better team. My complaint is with Joey Crawford deciding he doesn't want this to be potentially the best comeback of all-time.

Joey Crawford totally decided how that game was going to end instead of just calling the game.

No, its not hilarious. It's disrespectful, childish, and Ignorant. Guys like you make us real Laker fans look like chumps. You are an embarrassment to the Lakers, LA, true fans of sport, and your family.

Winning with class is obviously something you children obviously havent learned yet. It's really sad.

    LOL

    From a Spurs fan

I've come down off my momentary tilt and the call isn't the reson the Spurs lost the game. Fish's shot did hit the rim. So they got their break at that point.

More importantly they had plenty of chances and made a lot of mistakes at crucial junctures. Theyd didn't get much from anyoen but Tim, Tony, Bowen and Barry. They just need more from Manu especially and from Finley Udoka and Horry as well.

Offensive rebounds killed this team tonight right down to the bitter end..

Seriously, fishers shot hit the rim. The ball game should have been over. Any Spurs fan that tries to dispute this just isn't objective, there's no way around it.

The players did decide it. Barry made a great upfake, Fisher decided to bite on it, and it should have been Brent at the line.

    See, this is being objective

-Fisher did foul Barry. That was a bad no call.
-Fishers shot DID hit the rim, it was a bad no call.

Period. There's no way around either.

    lebron is laughing somewhere...
LeBron didn't get the bail-out foul either, and I agree that's the way the game should be played.

If you're close enough and want the refs to bail you out, you don't deserve the win.

Ref'ing works both ways but fans only complain when they're on the short end of the stick

You're a ing joke! What about these two facts LATE in the game:
    1. Ginobili's 3 was a 2....feet clearly on the line.
    2. Fishers shot hit the rim....should have been a fresh shot clock for the Lakers with 2 seconds left...........GAME OVER!

Move on and stop crying like a ! The better team won.

??? I am rooting for the Spurs, but, you've got some New Orleans and Hornets here. Don't use the "Spurs fans," cop-out. Call me an NBA fan that happens to be rooting for the Spurs. With that said, the "Spurs fans" are justified in their arguments. You're not finished hearing about this just on this board. Trust.

Why do the refs stay on the court if they shouldn't call fouls at the end of the game?

As to the "we would have beaten the fatigued spurs" excuses, the ref calls the foul, the players have to make free throws, the game isn't decided before they play.
