God Kobe has been doing terrible even for a Spurs matchup. 3 missed freethrows and 6-11? I hope he does his usually explosion, sure seemed to get a ton of rest the first half maybe he'll play the rest of the way.

The good guys HAVE to settle for jumpers because the Lakers play great defense. They know exactly how to defend Parker -- put a body on him and take away the penetration. The Lakers are just better.

spurs came out strong like a desperate team should do.

lakers felt like they were at home so it should be fine and before they knew it it was a 17 point deficit. they settled down and finished the half strong.

spurs are shooting 51% from the field and 55% from 3 point land compared to lakers 38 and 20. if im the lakers i feel pretty good rite now

Spurs inablity to score once again could end up hurting them. It's been their problem this entire season and this series especially.

Ginobili and Parker need to step up big time in the 2nd half. Phil Jackson did a great job adjusting his defense on Duncan in the 2nd quarter after Duncan owned them in the 1st.
