WTF, is this a whites-only thread?![]()
A Laker Fan can't see that all Laker Fans have always and will always been Laker Fans, Laker Fan.

False...all it proves is that the Lakers have earned my hate and I don't hate out of some unfair bias. They have earned my hate, and they have earned the hate of Spurfans in the past decade. The relationship between the two teams before Shaq/Kobe/Phil was entirely different...
I realize you weren't a fan before AJ and so I try to take it easy on you...but things once were much different.
All these bandwagoning Celtic Fans must have awoken vBulletin's inner racism . . .
Throwing out the AJ card doesn't really compare to being an admitted Laker fan, Laker Fan.
Give me the thread le and forum and lemme see if I can search for it.
Hey, Slomo! I see you lurking down there. WTF is up with this link?
Oh my bad I see what was wrong with the link. The thread starter was on all-ignore.
The links should now work.

Why so desperate to read it? Feeling a little guilty are we?
Okay whott and timvp I think it's time to solve this and other problems:
3...2...1.. FIGHT !
You make a good sales pitch here. These are very good reasons.
But!
I'm with Shoog, timvp and Kori on this one. KG will again be compared to TD and the way the Celts have been pushed down our throats all season long makes me hate them with passion (Gatorade commercial anyone?)
I'd rather see a smug KFC guy on TV than KG himself on the chest and probably declaring himself in the best Karl Malone tradition to be a 2warrior".
(I did throw up a little while writnig this)
P.S. I'm not lurking, I'm typing a post.
OK I'll check that in a minute stay tuned...
P.P.S.
timvp fixed it -it should work now.

There's not a chance anyone is going to seriously consider KG as better than Duncan. Duncan won that race long ago.
But if Kobe wins I can guarantee you people are going to say he is better than Duncan. , they say it already.
Furthermore...Kori, timvp and ShoogarBear do not all have the same stance...
timvp is a staunch advocate of fence riding...he sincerely believes it does not make a difference. Inspite of all the past between the Spurs and the Shaq/Kobe/Phil Lakers...it's like it never happend for timvp. And he seems to believe that somehow the Celtics have done anything close to what the Lakers have done..
Kori is jocking the Lakers entirely out of loyalty to Bruce Bowen..
ShoogarBear hates the Celtics from his days as a KnickFan.
Me? I'm the only one that can be trusted here...as an admitted casual follower of the Lakers at times...obviously something must have changed to put me totally in the corner of the anti-Laker movement.
And I am very forthcoming with the reasons why when asked...
Bottomline is that it will be far more damaging and painful for the Spurs if the Lakers win...and any real Spurfan will be rooting for the Celts against LA. IT's just that simple.

You just owned yourself, Laker Fan.
People either hate or love Kobe. Those who hate him will hate him even if he wins the next ten championships. People who love Kobe already think he's better than Duncan. Kobe is a lost cause either way. He can't convince the people who hate him to like him and the people who like him will like him no matter what (or who [with or without consent]) he does.
KG retiring a ringless biotch is important. That said, you're right. I don't care either way. I'm pissed that there is no good outcome but I'm at least thankful that either Kobe or KG will be crying within the next couple weeks.
And for the record, I hate these Lakers more than the 2000-2003 Lakers. At least those Lakers were physical and Shaq is more respectable than Kobe. This Kobe led group of soft azz Lakers is impossible to respect. These Lakers might be the team I hate more than any team in history.
The only player on the team that isn't soft is their six-foot-nothing point guard who has fvcked the Spurs out of two possible les with thanks to the refs unable to make the correct call with less than a second to go.

That little peeing dude is old school.
I hope the Lakers get crushed.
OK, now that was damn convincing. I'm glad I'm not even watching the Finals!
I guess I'll now be able to see positives and negatives regardless of who wins.
Celtics all the way. LA has been the biggest torn in San Antonios side since the 1980s. Why would anyone want them to win.
I also like Doc > Phil Jackson
and KG > Kobe
Lakers winning in 6. Shut the up OP
Learn to repeat.
I gotta root for Boston. There is no bigger in the NBA than one Philip Jackson. He rode MJ - ING JORDAN - to six les then KOBE AND SHAQ to 3 more. I don't want to hear about this anymore.
I hate Ray Allen, but Ray Allen >>>> Phil. Plus I like Rondo and Doc a lot. Nah, Philip - go Celtics.
... and because I don't like KG. And because I don't hate the Lakers like you guys do. I lived in L.A. for the majority of my life. Even if I don't love them like the Spurs, I don't hate them with any venom either.
Wrong.
If the Celtics beat down the Lakers, it makes the Spurs look even worse. It makes them look like they couldn't even beat a wussy team that lost to the Celtics.
At least if the Lakers win, we can say .. Oh well, Spurs lost to the 2008 Champs.
I despise both teams, if there is a God, both teams will find a way to lose.
I hate LA and loved Bird. Kobe doesn't deserve to win after the crap he's pulled with this team and Jackson is a smug prick. KG will never be compared with TD. TD doesn't shrink in big situations and KG was already a HOF lock, why not let the guy win a championship. At least he never demanded to be traded publicly and rode out the crappiness that was Minn. I could care less if Paul Pierce wins. Also PJ Brown would win and he's' a good guy and player who's suffered many years on less than great teams. Boston plays Spurs-like defense (not this years Spurs but...) and I like teams that don't ignore that side of the court.

i can't belive we lost to the lakers, i can't find one good reason for that, we should have won this series. the Phoenix Suns and the Hornets are much tougher teams and we beat them.
i think that is the must missing opportunity that we had of all time to go to the finals
