Doc Rivers had a brain fart...

followed Coach Pop's gameplan. SINGLE COVERAGE. Not even with a bruce bowen luxury .
Remember when he put an ice cold Tony Allen on Billups?

i don't see your logic. barry was knocking down shots, manu was committing turnovers and shooting bricks.
I know how bad Manu was, and I was calling for Barry all the way through the playoffs, but Pop couldn't play Barry 30+ mins for fear of hurting him too.

And if he didn't play Manu he would've been criticised by everyone for it.

    Rock, meet hard place.

Maybe, knowing how banged up Manu was, Pop should've rested him for games 1/2 and played Barry/Ime more, then brought out a rested Manu and played him half a game to keep him fresh, with Barry playing the other half.

Anyway, it's all just conjecture at this point. I feel sorry for Manu because he was clearly doing all he could, but his body couldn't respond.

I can't believe the Lakers won this game. I apologize for everyone watching on behalf of the Lakers. Easily one of the worst playoff games I've ever witnessed.

That was the worst played NBA Finals game I've ever seen. Both teams were in full choke mode and it was a matter of who choked the least.

    Which one is it? Dayum.
    I'm going each way!

Nah, what I meant is this feels like game 1 Spurs v Fakers - after you lose a game you should've won it hurts.

Okay, I say the Celts will steal one in LA, probably game 5. Celts in 6.

most overused word in sports. choking should be reserved for real instances like 2004 Yankees in the ALCS. thats a choke. having one bad game is not a choke.

When D'Antoni found out Grant Hill was injured, he put Hill on the bench. That's what you do with injured players. That way two things are achieved. One, the player can heal. Two, you can have someone in the game who can contribute. It's really not rocket science.
