I wouldn't be giving DazedAndConfused props for sticking around after the loss. It's mostly so he can say 4-1 to Spurs fans, and I guess because he and all of the other got Laker fans here think they give you rings and a banner for coming in 2nd. Mavfan was a vicious son of a in 2006 but he eventually came back down to earth. Lakerfan won't.

Don't let it fool you, though. He'll talk legit hoops all season but if the Lakers are in the Finals again, or eliminate anyone's team, then he's the worst troll this site has to offer.

Spurs lost 4-1 to the Los Angeles Lakers. Their franchise savior Tiaggo Splitter decided to resign with his club team. They traded Scola to a franchise rival for nothing. Their best young talent next year is a D-League player. Their entire team outside of Tony Parker is on the wrong side of 30 and will be another year older next season. The entire WC is going to be tougher next season and as of right now there is no reason to believe the Spurs will be better unless they can land a serious impact FA in the offseason which is extremely unlikely given the small market that they play in.

As bad as things are in LA right now, and trust me they are as bad as you can imagine.......there isn't another team in the WC I'd want to trade places with over the next 5 years.

I think ya'll Laker fans are just wishful thinking there. This year sucked with injuries and what not. but If Manu rests instead of playing this summer and as long as we have Tim Duncan we will be right in the mix.

The most important stat to me is Duncan 4 les, 2 mvps, 3 finals MVP's> Kobe's 3 les, 1mvp. Kobe had the chance to tie Duncan and Shaq as the greatest of player of the last 10 years but couldn't do it and might not ever get that chance.
