You know, Samaki Walker once had 13 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 blocks in a playoff game and then had 8 blocks in the next playoff game.

The Spurs could really use a guy who is capable of that sort of performance.
    and then Lakers took him

Ok, forget about Speedo and Devon........

But I would not hesitate to take Jax back: he is clutch, he has the at ude, he is a fearless shooter.

I can not stand Finley and his cold shooting anymore (although I still remember that big 3 pointer vs Phoenix in the 1st round)

Jax is one of half a player. but we'd be playing w/4 guys on D.

JAX is more inconsistent then gino, look at the gsw games where he shoots like 10 3's and only make a couple

He wouldn t take as many 3 pt shots in a game as a Spur.

It is GS, everybody shoots 3s there.

SJax has gotten better the longer he's been in the league.....and his defense has too. I'd say he's a decent defender when he's trying to be.

Speedy once heard someone break a pencil in 2 pieces and he immediately clutched his leg in pain.

I guess I'm one of the few who wouldn't mind seeing Jax or Devin back.

Speedy was on the verge of taking Tony's job and then bam he got hurt as always. He was easily the best backup PG we he played.

DevinBrown, it's all his fault. Talent but lacked the drive.

SJAX, too big of a personality now.

Speedy was on the verge of taking Tony's job ....
    That was never the case.

Spurs fans have a weird inflated vision of what Speedy was. He was a decent backup (and yes better than what the Spurs have had since). He had maybe two or three real good games. Other than that, he was just an average backup. He had 2 good playoff games.

Get Anthony Carter back. He once hit a game winning shot against the Suns in 2003.

Remember when someone said ... "Those playoff games Speedy came in and was raining 3 after 3." Uh... Speedy never hit a 3 in a Spurs uniform.

You might have to look at some of these guys. Sources close to both the Clippers and Suns have told me that a Barbosa for Maggette deal is done. It will be announced on July 9 when they can officially sign and trade Corey.

at the beginning of the year there was serious talk of speedy starting then he went down in the LA game and that was that. hindsight being 20/20 of course that would have been a horrible decision, but it was talked about.

Too bad they didn't draft an athletic point guard.
