Did Ian just get a block?
SRV on the PA during the timeout has been the highlight so far.
...or the middle east.
Good Gawd, with all that, Hill is still our second leading scorer with 6 pts.
I'm not sure I liked Bud's coaching that half. Hill looks solid, but Arthur looks better. Although, this is Hill's debut vs Arthur's 3rd or 4th game.
4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks for Gist. Not bad for under 10 minutes.
Sounds like Hill, Gist, and Mahinmi are showing something. Hopefully Hairston is just having one of those games and will be better next game.
The dancing banana is awesome.
Hill - Not a bad start.
Mahinmi - active, still fouls a lot
Gist - active with some nice athleticism
Hairston - king of suck
I was hoping to see Ian more dominant, at a NBA-ready level. Maybe he's having a bad game. At this level he's going to get abused in the NBA.
Kurt Thomas better be still available.
Gist is promising.
Wow. Halftime entertainment.
LMAO
peanut buttuh, jelly time!!!
And she's willing to go to a Summer League game as well.
that was some funny ... i think i saw ChumpDumper in there somewhere.
Where does that come from? The first time I saw it was on Family Guy
Um, I don't think the Spurs have ever considered it an either/or proposition with Thomas and Ian. By all accounts the plan is to bring up Ian and bring back Kurt.
Gives Ian a mentor, the Spurs depth and veteran poise at the center position
omg coldplay!!!!
Agree with all of that. Ian's been solid out there. Did he have 3 or 4 fouls? I think he had a clean contest on one of them.
Can anyone get 200% zoom to work?
Anyone else disappointed with Mahinmi's rebounding and defense? He looked better in d-league.
Gist looks like an NBA player. Maybe not a rotation player, but I could see him on a 15 man roster.
Hill's stats aren't great with 0 assists and 2 turnovers.
Hairston is largely invisible. Isn't he wearing Marcus Williams' old jersey number?
Ian is quick with some nice moves, but needs to play much bigger and stronger. He settles for position. It'd help if the guys knew when to get him the ball, but he looks like a marginal rotation guy right now. Could be much worse, and he has a lot of improvement in front of him.
Arthur, too, has a bright future. Memphis should be happy with Mayo, Gay and Arthur as a young core. Too bad Conely and Crit suck my left nut.
ian is still raw...he has potential but remember all he has seen is garbage time in the NBA...I really would be statisfied if he could score at least 8 points and pull down at least 6-8 boards per game...
The only thing that works for me is either 100% or full screen.
