Alright, George hit both his FTs
It was a perfect play. He drew three defenders and got it up on the glass - he knew he had Ian there to clean it up. If you'd ever played PG in your life you'd recognize it as a solid play.
Alright, George hit both his FTs
This is a long ass 8 seconds.
Yeah, but some people mistake that for an obvious mistake made by the Spurs![]()
Air Ball by George Hill.
Lebron's Summer League debut:
14 pts, 7 rebounds, 6 assists
George Hill's Summer League debut:
14 pts, 8 rebounds, 1 assist
not too shabby...not too shabby![]()
hopefully spurs front office does something to encourage him to stay and possibly earn some PT
![]()
Damn, wish we had room for Tolliver. He looks to be an actual Robert Horry replacement, unlike Matt Bonner.
Again, how do you know anything about Bonner when he doesn't get any PT?
you're lost kid. you're suggesting he should have thrown a brick instead. Soft so you or a big man can follow-up, simple as that.
/shrug, believe what you want, I suppose. I know I will. I was impressed with Hill, but I don't believe for a second he was trying to pass the ball to Ian.
The Spurs overcame Summer League corruption to win the game. Epic!
Hill had 17 pts.
Trade Bonner for a guy who doesn't intend to play in the NBA next year, or ever.
I love a guy who can score 17 points on a 2-9 shooting night.
make that 17 pts for Hill...even less shabby.![]()
common sense? , Bonner isn't a new discovery you know...
Pretty decent by George Hill though I didn't see him make his own shot. Mahinmi showed some good moves and decent range. Greene looked pretty comfortable on the court. Gist has a couple of blocks and showed his 3 pt range (may be a nice understudy for Bowen). Tolliver looked decent.
Hairston was a complete no show.
Mayo looked pretty impressive in how he could get his shot up with defense. Arthur seemed pretty agile and had some decent range.
Well the new guys looked pretty good. You can tell that they are still feeling each other out a bit though. Lots of miscommunication on defense and offense. Other than that, in my opinion (i know the summer league isnt over yet), I wouldnt mind seeing a few of those guys on the roster next year for the Spurs.
not at all. He looks like a lumbering set shot type of player. Green looked much smoother.
And 3 assists.
Doesn't have to be a pass to be a good play. When you draw the big men to contest your shot, it opens up offensive rebounding opportunities.
