I expected him to play better. A lot better. And today he took a serious step towards that goal. Where did I say I expected him to play perfect basketball?

You expected him to not have a single defensive lapse and to not turn the ball over. That is a of a lot of expectations to put on a player who has never played with these teammates and is still learning the point guard position.

If anything he showed that he had this talent in those first couple of games things just weren't falling for him. Face it you bailed on Hill and now that he is finally putting up points you want back on the wagon. You suck at analyzing a player for overall ability and letting a player learn the system.

i made a basic comment on Ian's education as he doesn't seem to be a fast learner and all frenchies got mad... i like the kid he is a terrific perosn.. i just suggested his IQ is what is stopping him from progressing faster and what will kill his shot to make it to our team

You will know he was just tired if his rebounds were down and his fouls were up, and his point total doesn't dramatically dip. It's those hustle stats and getting into the right position that go first when you are tired.

And I know he had 4 first half points...and I don't think he went scoreless in the second half either.
