End of the third, 72-57. Manu with 28, And Nocioni just had a pretty play, he combined a steal with a layup. Wish the Arg team would dunk more, but their beautiful passing makes up for it.

Manu was in all star mode today.

Looks like he's done for the game.

They're actually using their bench, cuz they knew Iran wouldn't be a problem.

Their bench is trash lol. If Argentina wants to come close to beating the big dogs they're going to need a superhuman effort from Ginobili.

    And that's why they don't play, the bench lost the 17pt lead, now it's 67 - 78

I agree. This is the first game I've seen this summer from them, and I was hoping to see for myself that the bench could hold their own, but that's not what I see. I think they'd be better with the veterans they left off, like Wolykowski, than what they've got now. And Carlos Delfino is pissing me off.

If the Arg bigs can't stop this guy, Howard, Pau, and Marc will all be able to rape in the paint.

Delfino is the Argentine version of Kendall Gill He looks like one of those players that believes he's better than he really is. It's in his body language. I used to always get that impression from Gill.

It's the truth. I've tried to like the guy, but some of the stuff he says, and the way he carries himself just rubs me the wrong way. And now that he's getting way overpaid in Russia, it's only going to inflate his ego further.

Manu was just a monster tonight blocking shots, driving the lane, and hitting those threes at the right time. It looks like he has his speed back and he's close to 100% (now if only he was somewhere close to this during the Lakers series it would've easily been over and we wouldn't have to hear about how the Lakers are always the team to beat) . Hopefully Manu stays healthy. I kind of cringe everytime he drives down that lane and gets knocked down. Now their bench is pretty bad and I don't see them getting far into the medal round at all.
