trade him, and trade his ass now.

Kobe's not a China doll.
Ginobili still in the Locker room.....
Somewhere Tim Duncan is developing left knee tendinitis that will keep him sidelined for all of 2008-09.
Let the tanking begin.
Yeah, he was driving and LeBron stepped in front of him as he was passing and Manu landed off balance. It was not really anything unusual so it is a concern that his ankle is going to hold up under the rigors of normal play...until he has properly healed the ankle.
Link to when you told us so?
Doesn't he have to have surgery after the Olympics?
Not a very productive idea, since the Spurs lack a first round pick this year.
ty news to wake up to. I hope he'll be ok and be ready for when the season starts.
It's not going to be pretty to have to lean on Mason, Udoka, and Finley to carry the load should he miss some time this season with the ankle.
Ginobili shouldn't be playing if a slight tweak of the ankle sends him to the locker room.
Chances are the Spurs will have to rest him throughout training camp and preseason to make sure he's healthy. An ankle doesn't heal all the way unless you get a whole lot of rest.
Don't confuse the noobies with facts.

I made a whole thread about it
I do understand why he is playing though, so I can not fault Gino.
You can't always do what you want. He is making a LOT of money with a contract obligation with the Spurs.
Well unlike the Wade, if Gino takes time off, they do not get a number 2 draft pick. They will still win more than 20 or so games.
They'll get him on a therapy program once he's back. He'll be ready before the regular season; I think the main concern is that this is a chronic ankle issue that will progressively hurt his mobility.
mas triste
Is it protected?
Actually, I'm not sure. I don't remember hearing about any protection on that pick...
I don't see where you said he'd get injured. You whined a lot and talked about injuries but you didn't flat out say Manu was going to get injured.
You are like the Miami Heat version of Lefty.
And there you go![]()
I can't believe all the Manu hate in this thread... I would say trade Manu now - not for San Antonio's sake but for his! He deserves better than a bunch of losers like some of the posters here. What have you ever won in your life?
