Thats what some of your party believed in 04 if Bush got reelected.
I just don't see her as a strong VP candidate.
Thats what some of your party believed in 04 if Bush got reelected.
Why,
cause shes a woman?
Nah, because she doesn't hold a candle to Snowe or Richardson.
Take it for what she is: a pretty young, face.
Approval ratings (like W in TX or Kwame in Detroit?) and her 18 month record mean to me.
I can't deny that.
No, and know as crazy as it sounds, due to the arguments against Obama's experience, I just don't see her as ready to take on the role as president and that of course is largely based on the fact that I have not seen her enough to get a sense of what she is like and although it will be only be through the media and internet I will need to gather my own understanding of who she is and go from there. I'm just not ready to jump ship.
If McCain ever get's in a fight with her, then back2basics will have to buy her flowers
No, mainly because she's a failed sports reporter (the hot ones always get degrees in kinesiology or journalism), who up until 2007 went to work in this building -

yeah, if only she was from New York, or a bigger city where she could be so much better. Shame shame.
Not that it really matters one way or the other, but take Mr. Peabody's photo integrity with a grain of salt...he's already posted one fraudulent photo on the forum today. So it's not like he's a reliable source of information or anything.
Biden fans sigh....
BTW, it's funny how the liberal response to anything is to google for photos on leftwing blogs and try to pass it off as political insight.
bat you are the biggest ing sell out, im beginning to think you're really ignignokt or clandestino in disguise
Photo integrity!?!

I know she's a pro-lifer. That right there seals the deal for me. Although it was already decided by me a long time ago... not based on candidates, but issues. I don't like the current Republican policies and I don't care if they parade Antonio Sabato Jr. up there and tell me he'll be the next VP!!! I'm still voting for Obama. Hillary was my first choice and Obama was my second. McCain isn't even in my top 10.![]()
I liked what Jay Leno said tonight..."Now the McCain ticket has a Pro-Lifer and a Cling-To-Lifer."
Funny...he wasn't in mine either.
I find it curious that liberal Democrats don't want anything to do with a liberal Republican.

I am pro-choice too, but it's not a major issue because it's not ever going to be reversed and if it is, the women of this country will instantly raise about it like has never been raised before.
If it's the Supreme Court you are worried about...the justices to overturn Roe V Wade are already on the bench.
My point is just to check out her story and tell me that she isn't impressive. She is very impressive, regardless of her gender or politics, and I don't think this pick is entirely about pandering.
I agree her stance on abortion is radical...and it's definitely not one I agree with. Who knows, maybe you are right to be wary of her, because she does seem to have an uncommon amount of determination.

Then I doubt that you'll be changing your mind any time soon, but she's still an impressive nominee to come out of nowhere. S'all I'm saying.
Plus she's hot.
that was fast!

Although it's a of a risky pick, I do at least think it will stir some interest back into the party. I think that this MAY be a slam dunk for the Obama campaign as Biden may walk all over her in the debates. He COULD crush her but the Repubs could possibly see it as a finely concocted opportunity for her to impress during the V.P. debates. We'll see. I hope she impresses...
Ok McCain is quite older. What if he dies? She will be president. Thats interesting.
I just had to chuckle a little when I read this. When I said essentially the same thing (but more accurately "just because a political party puts up a woman"), you gave me the, "do you stand for progress or the status quo?" and "here is your chance to bust the glass ceiling" or something like that!! Sorry but I can't agree that I (a woman) should decide my vote just because they put her out there, but you (a man) shouldn't "make that decision just because a political party puts them up there."![]()
All the more reason to make sure there is a pro-choice administration in place, should one of the sitting justices be "stricken" and require replacing. I know it's a stretch....
