Its not as bad as it looks really. All of the convection is to the SW of the center of circulation. The center is mostly exposed which is a sign of a struggling system. It has a chance to get its act together in the near future, however.

I'm telling you dude, those guys have a real 50/50 shot of death. They're more than likely going to get nasty surge of 10ft plus. Most of Houma is below that. The entire town will likely be under water. Oh yeah then you have the 115 winds in the eyewall that will likely pass over them.
