He just sees that the Dali-Bama's chances of winning are getting slim!
And you still hate her. This is pretty comical. boutons, your panties haven't been in this big a bunch since Bush got re-elected.

I think one of the more interesting aspects of this weekend's spurstalk political hullabaloo is ChumpDumper's responses in these threads. Still not sure where he's coming from but he's taking no prisoners.
it's sad that they are forcing a shotgun marriage on their kid for the sake of running with mccain.
It wouldn't surprise me if there was a great deal of pressure, but far from a shotgun wedding.
Shotgun wedding? There was an article earlier today that said the daughter has been engaged for a couple of months now.
Actually, it sounds like a textbook definition of a shotgun wedding.
No.
In times past, the father would literally force the man to marry his daughter. If the wouldn't, he would kill him. There was then no shame in the family because it was true that the babies daddy had died.
I'm sure the "engagement" had nothing to do with the pregnancy. Teenagers are always looking to get married at the first opportunity. Damn teenagers, always trying to get married!
So what does the term mean today?
Don't you get it? It means the same thing today. When people use the term, they still mean situations where the father literally shoots the son-in-law. You can't tell me you've heard it used in any other way.
Today, it's just a figure of speech in most parts. There still may be some who practice it though!
Any hill-billies out there?
Yep, a figure of speech(idiom) that means:
A shotgun marriage, or shotgun wedding, is one that is forced because of pregnancy.
A wedding in which the bride is already pregnant.
A marriage that is forced or necessitated because of pregnancy.
An agreement or compromise made out of necessity.
So, shotgun wedding works just fine in this instance.
I jumped in when you said "textbook."
It is a figurative shotgun wedding.
Getting married may be the "appropriate" thing to do, but it isn't going to solve their problems. Levi's gonna have to grow up real quick.http://www.nypost.com/seven/09012008..._is_127025.htm

Palin and her husband, Todd, said their daughter plans to marry the child's father - who sources said is Levi Johnston - and that both "are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family."
-------
On his MySpace page, Johnston boasts, "I'm a f - - -in' redneck" who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes.
"But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- - - and just f - - -in' chillin' I guess."
"Ya f - - - with me I'll kick [your] ass," he added.
He also claims to be "in a relationship," but states, "I don't want kids."
He was using the term "textbook definition" as a figure of speech. Trust me, you're the only one here who assumed actual shotguns were involved.
So do they get divorced when Obama gets elected?
I might believe it if they linked the Myspace page so we could see for ourselves. I did searches, and couldn't find the page. Google and Alta Vista would point to pages even if they were removed! No search hits to Myspace!
Today weddings are more likely to be semi-automatic.
Not to rain on anyones parade here but Palin supports birth control(other than abortions) and isn't in favor of introducing anti-abortion legislation. I know that s everyone up...but her anti-abortion stance is her personal belief system and not her political ambition.
I'd post a link but you guys won't believe it unless it comes from the Daily Kos anyway...so what would be the point?
Well since it is not her political ambition that would make her pro-choice.
And while we're on this subject...
I personally am not in favor of the birth control pill...because of my own personal observation.
Every woman I've ever known before she got on the pill turned into a complete after she got on the pill. In fact you could almost say they stopped acting like women.
Just a personal observation...
The McCain campaign would appreciate it if you kept that one on the down low; they don't want to lose the social conservatives' enthusiasm they just acquired.
It wasn't the pill that turned them into a .
