ROFL Fox News has a huge red box that says "HURRICANE IKE" taking up a fifth of the screen for no reason, even during commercials.
All the crap on the screen has become one of my biggest pet peeves of recent years.

Its usually east of the eye. Port A is probably going to get worst storm surge than Galveston. Most of Galveston island is already underwater and they've got about 14-15 feet of surge right now. HIgh tide is also not for 2 1/2 more hours which will add to the surge as well.

Right now as the right wall hits the hurricane is about to start working like a giant pump that will keep pushing huge amounts of water into the bay with nowhere for all that water to go except up and out into the surrounding low lying areas...
You know there are kids still out there. I saw at least 3 in that sweep of the cot set up at Ball Highschool...you know there are a lot more people with children in their homes. Ignorant people, but their kids are suffering for it.
