Hopefully, his aim is better than his free throws.
So which team will retire his jersey?

As much as I've hated him through most of his career, it will be a sad day for the NBA when a player of his caliber retires.
That's where I am too. I'm not a fan of the man, never have been. But I respect the player. And his bigger-than-life personality brought something to the game, I can appreciate that.
I remember the All Star game a couple of years back where Duncan and KG were talking about guarding Shaq, KG had the task. Duncan laughed as he said, "Let me know how that works out for you."
And, of course, it was Shaq that dubbed Duncan "The Big Fundamental."
LA and the Heat probably will seeing they retired MJ's number.
Shaq has been irrevelant the past couple years anyways and will be again next year. It's like he is already gone.
Should have retired after the refs/Wade won 06 le for him since that seems to gloss over the fact that Dampier basically outplayed him most of that series.
I can't understand Laker fans hating on Shaq when he's the reason they won 3 les at the beginning of the decade. Laker fan is the ultimate fair-weather fan.
I won't miss him a bit.
I wish he said 365 days instead of 735
Shaq isn't a Laker anymore you god damn re .
LOL! That fat piece of reminds me of Tommy Hearns who was a pretty good fighter in his days. He told Playboy before the Hagler fight that he was planning to retire shortly after and become a Hollywood actor. The only problem was that he was nearly impossible to comprehend even before Hagler knocked him out. And so Tommy continued to fight and get knocked out well into his 40's. Interestingly enough, it was The Marvelous One who ended up being a pretty successful action movie hero in Italy after his timely retirement. I predict that the fat piece of will end up in jail instead of wearing a badge.
