I don't give a who defends her on Spurstalk. When I see conservatives coming out in droves saying how bad she's doing I don't need to be convinced that there is some sort of stupid media conspiracy.

I don't understand why this is even debated to be quite frank. If people want to dilude themselves into believe such bull then no amount of linking or quoting or posting is going to change their mind. Truly openminded people saw through the bull - or moose rather - some time ago.
The conservatives on this forum would defend a pair of tennis shoes if the Republican party nominated them for Presidency.

Where's KillBill to tell us about all the offers for Palin from European countries?

Russian teams were offering Pallin 20 million Euros to be Putin's vice president. Palin can use this as proof she has foreign policy experience.

    Back on subject:

According to an analysis by Congressional Quarterly, McCain has voted for bills favored by President Bush 90 percent of the time. The nonpartisan publication, which has analyzed voting by members of Congress since 1953, said the report took into account all legislation that Bush had taken a clear position on. It spans from the beginning of Bush's term to Congress's recess in August.

In the 100-member Senate, 14 current members — all Republicans — voted with Bush more than 90 percent of the time, according to the report. Six others have a 90 percent rating like McCain's. The report shows Obama voting with Bush 40 percent of the time and his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, voting with Bush 52 percent of the time during the course of his presidency.

Obama surrogates also frequently say McCain voted with Bush 95 percent of the time. This is a reference to the Republican senator's record in 2007. That was the highest percentage in the seven years studied. In 1995, McCain voted with Bush 77 percent of the time — his lowest percentage in those years. "The president and I agree on most issues," McCain said in a May 22, 2003 interview on Fox's "Your World with Neil Cavuto." "There was a recent study that showed that I voted with the president over 90 percent of the time, higher than a lot of my even Republican colleagues."

Yep. He's a real maverick, alright.

I think our leaders should boycott the media until they can be more balanced. No interviews, press conferences, nothing. That'll show the media!

I'm voting against someone that wants to raise the out of my taxes.

    its not about goddamn teams.
Exactly how much money do you make per year? I will tell you how much you "lose" by going back to Clinton level taxes

Odds are your lifestyle wouldn't change one iota and you'd be doing the country a lot of good by contributing to universal healthcare and educational reform instead of a stupid war in Iraq. C'mon, be a good Christian hypocrite.

Even I'm getting sucked into this now.

In a debate context things are set up perfectly for Palin. The bar is so ing low she could show up with a bib and drool running down her ing chin and still come out of the debate ok.

LOL this is classic from someone supporting Joe Biden for VP.

That guy is the biggest for brained idiot ever loosed upon a Presidential Ticket.

    It's not even comparable.

Did you vote for George Bush twice?

If so you lose the right to identify yourself as conservative. You're just stupid.

I've not seen any mention of the interview she did with Sean Hannity. It aired for pretty much the entire hour for two nights in a row. And the ratings for it were through the roof. I watched it and I thought she sounded pretty geniune and articulate. But then again, Sean asked a question and then just shut up and let her talk - unlike Gibson and Couric.

    you.

I don't believe the goddamn government should be involved with Healthcare. I agree about educational reform, but I believe audits and checks should be done, throwing more money at it won't work. eliminating BS positions and spending money SMARTER would fix education alot better.

Its none of your business how much I make, but I make enough to where Obama wants to raise them.

Take your hypocritical Christian bull somewhere else.

You're right its not even comparable. Biden hasn't ducked the media out of fear. Biden appeared on every network tonight and wasn't at a ing bar. Biden may make a ton of gaffes, but Miss South Carolina and he don't share teh same answers unlike Palin.

You're god damn right its not compareable.

So I should've voted for John Kerry cause he was more conservative?

WTF kind of reasoning is that?

I think, at worst, the media magnifies her shortcomings. It's a bit of a characature but it's grounded in reality.

Furthermore, when you get liberals coming out in droves to say Palin was a bad pick the way Conseravtives are right now then MAYBE they'll be comparable.

You can throw lipstick on a ignorant stupid and she's still the same ignorant stupid .

I'll say this as a conservative.

Obama as I'm watching this for the first time, overmatched McCain.

As I watch it now, hes clearly won IMO.

Obama wins Fox News focus group -

These results on these polls tell me one of two things:

    1) People are pissed at McCain for trying to chicken out of the debate and swung to Obama before the debate even began, and were seeing it through blue tinted glasses

    - or -

    2) The war in Iraq is even more unpopular than advertised, and people are supporting Barack for the way he killed McCain on the war in that one statement shown in the video above.

I honestly thought McCain did very well on the debate, but the American people disagree.
