I did. Go back and read and tell your brain to shut the up.
I think LJ and 2cents have had the best takes in this thread.
And I think the overwhelming consensus should be that no matter which party wins, we're ed![]()

LOL Jess said the exact same thing about the blush.
we're doomed.
BIDEN: ...That would keep people in their homes, actually help banks by keeping it from going under. But John McCain, as I understand it -- I'm not sure of this, but I believe John McCain and the governor don't support that.
There are ways to help people now. And there -- ways that we're offering are not being supported by -- by the Bush administration nor do I believe by John McCain and Gov. Palin.
IFILL: Gov. Palin, is that so?
PALIN: That is not so, but because that's just a quick answer, I want to talk about, again, my record on energy versus your ticket's energy ticket, also.
Seriously?
Seriously, does anyone think anything is really going to change?
Oh I think everyone agrees there. Start putting your money in your mattress and you should be okay(Well except for TPark because he's in the $250K+ tax bracket).
Both candidates debated hard.
I disagree, I think Obama, if hes reigned in from his spending, and I think McCain is OK in a sense, both of em are better than Bush.
Have fun, I'm done here.
They had Morris on, and asked him what he thought.
He started running down why he thought Palin did a good job tonight. Colmes cut him off and started going down this laundry list of liberal talking points (I swear, it sounded like he had an Obama campaign memo in front of him), and then basically said 'shut the up. You asked me what I thought, I'm trying to tell you, quit being such a partisan hack and let me finish what I had to say.'
It was hilarious.
I'll be the first to admit I tend to have an obsessive side...but I'm over the picture thing now....I think.
We'll see how I feel in the morning.
But he DID take a shot at my pic, so...
Biden wins debate, Palin exceeds expectations

It's bad. I wanted to give her a tissue to wipe some off. That's been twice now. She needs more of a pink and less orange.![]()
Personally, yeah I do. I don't think it could get any worse than what we had the last 8 years.
Sounds like it....![]()
The wealthy are the best at hiding money. No mattress needed.
I think they may be trying to counterbalance the fact that McCain looks like a walking corpse half the time so they make her look extra alive. Either that or perhaps she needs to hire a new makeup artist![]()
Clinton weighs in

Senator Hillary Clinton issued a statement praising Bidens performance.
(CNN) — Hillary Clinton issued a statement shortly after the debate praising Joe Biden's performance:
“Tonight's debate underscored the stark choice American families face in this election," she said. “I've known Senator Biden a long time – as Americans saw tonight, he is a strong, passionate and experienced leader. Like Barack Obama, Joe Biden understands both the economic stresses here at home and the strategic challenges in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world.
“We saw yet again that Senator McCain and Sarah Palin will offer only more of the same failed policies of the Bush Administration. America's hardworking Middle Class families deserve better.”

biden must be scared
It's called a joke, thus the laughing face.
yeah to bad computers could not have come out under bush instead of clinton
that is the only thing that saved clinton
I think the best counterbalance would be if Palin in the middle of the debate or an interview just began to raise the roof.
Too much?
Yeah, I just had an epiphany there. We've gone 37 pages on the freakin' vice presidential debate, and in the end it doesn't really matter. D.C. will still the rest of us over for their own interests in the end.
*sigh*
