    Have we ever seen Steve Nash in such a stance before?

    Porter has totally changed the emphasis over to defense for the Suns (that's almost all they've been practicing in training camp).

    lol i cant see nash and shaq with their old ass knees playing D all game. Put it this way, if they focus on D, Nash will turn into an above average PG at best on offense

    I've seen Nash try on defense before. He gives effort a lot.

    I think he's just not as quick when he's on his heels and is not dictating the action. On offense, when he has the ball and he knows what he's going to do with it, he looks really fast even at his age now, but on defense, he's just not as quick at reacting. He also reaches a lot probably because he wasn't really coached to be discipline and patient on defense. Plus, he gets over-powered a lot against certain bigger guards.

    I think he tries on defense more than some people think. He's just not a good defender.

    Nash tries to play D sometimes . . . I also saw a pic in there of Shaq trying to shoot a free throw.
