Time frame is important here. I'm assuming that all players are in their prime, of course. But if we're playing in the 80's, when Lambeer's cheap shots were considered just part of the game, then Team B would probably win it in five. Bill would get under Shaq's skin, get him pissed off and playing sloppy, and then flop his way into some foul trouble for the Diesel. If it's played in the 21st century where the refs wrote Shaq a blank check in the paint the Team A might have a shot in a long series.

Of course, that would cut both ways with how much Bowen would be able to get away with in terms of perimeter contact on MJ.

Bowen helps defensively but hurts offensively....thats the series factor right there.

Why is Medvedenko at starting 4 for both teams?

Laimbeer is actually an interesting choice to put into the equation because he was gritty and dirty post defender but on offense he liked to shoot jumpers and really didn't play in the low post. That actually complements Jordan since Jordan played the mid post and kicked out. Team B appears to be all around better. The only issue is how the game would be called on Shaq and Laimbeer. It's possible that Shaq could foul Laimbeer out fairly easily and we don't know what the rest of the roster for the two teams are.

I say Team B would win, or at least be significantly favored. But, I don't think it would be a huge upset if Team A beat Team B in a seven game series.
