I would pay to watch Manny and DPG go at it UFC style. I'd buy front row tickets.
As far as Manu goes, he can burn in for all I care; as long as he stays a badass on teh court.
Is it... Is it over yet?
15 pages already?
WTF
Anyway, if Manu believed in God, we would have repeated![]()
to Manu. He is one of the rational. I love him more every day.
I wonder how many other agnostics/athiests there are on the Spurs?
I'm going to take some wild guesses - TD is a Rastafarian (228 - any word?), TP is agnostic (but wouldn't admit it to the media), Bruce believes in God, Fab is all about Hendrixism, KT is a Satanist, Mikey Fin is a closet Mormon (like Big Shot Rob), Mason believes in the Great Spaghetti Monster, and Red Rocket just started his own religion (for when he gets cut by the Spurs) which involves nubile daywalking virgins and will end with the Apocalypse in 12 years time on a remote ranch surrounded by the FBI. What do you think?

It's a figure of speach. It does not mean he believes in God.
Manu probably answered that he does not know what significance God plays in his life.
Didn't he just say he does not know what significance God plays in his life? Thats different that saying he does not believe.
DPG, you have made an ass of yourself.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the way Manu answered the "Do you believe in God?" question. He was honest and susinct. "I am not a believer". And he left it at that.
I believe in God and have no issues with him saying what he said. I would've had issues with him doing what you want him to do, which is to lie or avoid the topic.
"No soy creyente", in Argentina, means you do not believe in God.
Manu's response was unequivocal. "No soy creyente" means "I am not a believer."
Mental note: MaNuMaNiAc has never been to Germany, Austria, nor Switzerland. He also apparently has never been in a major city on the West Coast of the United States, nor to any of the large Sunbelt cities like Dallas, Houston, Miami, or Atlanta.
Show's over people, nothing to see here.
Wow- this is a super long thread. I haven't read through it all yet.
I do want to say, in every conversation ( brief though they were) I have ahd with Gino, he has always shown himself to be incredibly courteous and kind.
I think Gino is an excellent Spur and sweet person. I will continue to root for him and pray for him, as I always have.
Some San Antonians need to grow up. Ask Timmy Duncan, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant if they beleive in God. Most if not all will say no(if they are honest).
grow up!!!
While I am personally saddened to learn that Gino is not a Christian, still I applaud Gino for answering the question and doing so, so honestly.
I don't take exception to people for having a lawful difference of opinion. I do have a problem with liars who hide their true feelings out of fear and/ or a hidden agenda.
Gino, to his credit, is not one of the latter.
Sad to see Manu's intelligence is limited...then again he's an Argie so...par for the course.
Smeagol, you have made an ass of yourself for not reading the 100 post (literally) where I said I HAVE NO PROBLEM THAT HE: 1) DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD 2) HOW HE ANSWERED THE QUESTION 3) HOW I WOULD NEVER WANT HIM TO LIE 4) HOW I APPRECIATE HONESTY.
All I said was that I am surprised how he answered so openly and honestly a question (because most famous people do not discuss such things with fans on a forum) considering the rest of the questions were so light-hearted. I figured he would go the route of the "CAR" question and just not answer it rather than invite people that much into his life and possibly take flack from fans and ... because of his beliefs.
I can go back and quote you multiple times where I have said all of that and put it in bold so you can see the truth if you would like.
His intelligence is so limited... that he's enjoying his life doing what he likes the most, and excelling at it too. While you, the 'intelligent' have to spend your mediocre life posting on a Spurs forum...
Put that way, it makes total sense...
What a loser...
there used to be a time where I would have felt insulted by a statement like this coming from you, but you've turned into such a joke around here that its hard not to laugh![]()
For the record, this thread shouldn't have made it page 16, the way that it did.
However, I could go through countless threads which shouldn't have made it past page 2.
While I disagree with the majority of DPG's theory, I do understand his point of view and felt that the ridicule intiated by others was completely unecessary.
Faith has very little to do with intellegence, no?
Completely false, spirituality is a product of advanced intelligence...
