2 weeks ago I read something about the bottom of the bed pointing towards the door; they say it's bad because in the Chinese culture, this is how deceased people live their bodies (by the door)
I read that before going to bed, so I really freaked out (no kidding)
I can't beleive there are Feng Shui consultants who charge you 300$ to harmonize your house (positive energy).
I can't actually believe people are stupid enough to use the services of a Feng Shui consultant.

It is custom/tradition-based, so if you value that sort of thing, good on you. As for proof that it actually has any effect, like astrology, there ain't much that I know of.

My neighbors tried FS by putting a mirror on the outside of their bedroom door a few years back. Its supposed to confuse the evil spirits/bad energies that are trying to get into your bedroom.
They have been divorced for 3 years now.

yeah , like you said "it's in Chinese culture " , and you are not a Chinese ,so why bother to scare yourslef . only Chinese people will give that a . i grow up in China , even i don't believe that , but i wont refuse that either . if there is some knowlege which exists longer than 2000 years , then it must have something with reason .
btw , i have run into a lot of events , some of them are just ridiculous . but i never try to disprove it . because if it is unreasonable , it will die soon .
