BINGO!
you just proved that it takes more brains to not beleive, than to beleive. Props.
But what reason can you give to make someone not believe, how can you prove it?

those guys aren't . You want to see some of the truly immortal atheists?

It's sad that you've formulated that perception.
That isn't what the teaching of Jesus Christ is based upon.
My desire is to be in the presence of God. So, I have faith that if I adhere to His word I will continually be in His presence during my time on Earth and for eternity in Heaven.
Thanks for sharing your family pictures...![]()
No I proved your point wrong. If, just like in America's judicial system, you have something you want to condemn, you must prove beyond on a reasonable doubt that you are correct. You cannot do that. No one has been able to do that. If the smartest people in the world are non-believers, you would think at least one of them would of been able to disprove God's existence, right?
It actually works the other way around... The reason people do not believe is because religion has failed to prove that God exists... If you could, agnostics would not exist...
haha now you are just messing with me. But I will bite. How can you prove that God exists? you can't. that is why christianism has gone the way of fear mongering.
So all these scientists are atheists BECAUSE they could not find a proof that God exists.
BTW:
FTW
I probably have . . . many times . . . but not on this thread. That privilage belongs to you.
for not reading the 100 post (literally) where I said I HAVE NO PROBLEM THAT HE: 1) DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD 2) HOW HE ANSWERED THE QUESTION 3) HOW I WOULD NEVER WANT HIM TO LIE 4) HOW I APPRECIATE HONESTY.
Dude, you can back-pedal all you want but when this thread started, you were upset Manu answered a simple question (in his own ing interenet forum, I might add) with the truth:
Q: "What does God mean to you?"
Manu: "I'm not a believer"
How the can that simple answer upset you to the point of making this thread go 18 pages?
All I said was that I am surprised how he answered so openly and honestly a question (because most famous people do not discuss such things with fans on a forum) considering the rest of the questions were so light-hearted.
Bull- ing- .
You said Manu was not smart for simply stating his non belief in God in his own internet forum. You even equated his faith confession with Hitler or the KKK.
Tell me again who has made an ass of himself?
I figured he would go the route of the "CAR" question and just not answer it rather than invite people that much into his life and possibly take flack from fans and ... because of his beliefs.
Why would anyone take flack simply by saying "I do not believe in God"? Are you seriously this re ed?
I can go back and quote you multiple times where I have said all of that and put it in bold so you can see the truth if you would like.
No need to do that. I have read all your posts in this thread, especially the early ones, and they are trully hillarious. I rarelly side with BB in issues regarding religion, but boy is he right on this one!
@ everyone going around in circles.
I think we should demand Kori provide a religion section to the forum.
Really, is the Kings Forum even capable of producing 18 pages in a year, let alone a couple of days.
That can be a cultural thing; like a phrase.
I often say in Slovenian "thank god" because it is a phrase that was used in my enviroment when i was a child and got used to it.
But apart from that I do not believe in any god and find most religions simply stupid. (i sincerely feel that way.... dont want to offend anyone)
But I still use the phrase out of habit...
I bet you can't...I bet you the dumbest idiot lacks the ability to conceive of good or evil, right or wrong, heaven or .
The fact that you don't realize that makes you pretty ignorant.
That is why people do believe. That is the essence of faith. If the smartest minds on earth for 100's of years could not disprove it, then you have to acknowledge that some things are out of humans control and beyond our grasp. That leads one to believe that there is an "unknown" variable. That is where religion comes in.
The answer did not upset me at all. It surprised me.
I said Manu was a Smart guy and I would be shocked if he just openly discussed such things with fans because most famous people do not do that. I did not equate what Manu said with Hitler or the KKK, I equated that to another argument about people having rights to say what they want.Bull- ing- .

Why is Barack Obama getting flack for possibly being a Muslim?
You just got caught up in the mob mentality. The people who asked me to clarify now know what I meant and have no problem with it. Just an overreaction by another sheep like yourself. No need to do that. I have read all your posts in this thread, especially the early ones, and they are trully hillarious. I rarelly side with BB in issues regarding religion, but boy is he right on this one!
I disagree. I don't think the topic merits the 18 pages and counting we have right now.
oh really?
So in that case, since we can't scientifically disprove that hobbitts, trolls, mermaids and santa claus don't exist. Then we should conclude that they do exist?

Really? Most non believers will tell that there's more than one "unknown" variable, and we just haven't evolved enough to find them all. But we do find them as time goes on. That's exactly what the scientific method is, and it definitely does not include God as the 'variable'.
Doesn't work like that. Is people who believe in Bigfoot the smartest, because it hasn't been proved it doesn't exist ?
When I think you could not make a bigger ASS out of yourself you go and write that....
Congratulations!![]()
No, you have to conclude that there is a unknown variable that the most advanced minds cannot figure out.
There are multiple accounts of different people with regards to Jesus being a real person. Whether or not that makes him the son of God is not the point. We know who "created" hobbits, trolls and ...
Bigfoot has nothing to do with universal questions. God has to do with explaining things that the most advanced scientific minds cannot figure out.
The Christian philosophical framework of the West created an environment where rationalism could grow and flourish. Eventually rationalism became parasitic and killed its host. But now, without any framework of its own to start from, rationalism has no anchor from which to carry out deduction and therefore drifts into nihilism. At the same time, its promise of grand overarching narratives that explain everything has fallen short. The thinkers of the age elucidated these fatal flaws a half-century ago. Now the great minds of science encounter a reality where every answer poses multiple new questions, and knowledge must be coupled with mystery and wonder. The doers of this age came to grips with the fading phantom of perfect knowledge and resolved to act anyway with the limited understanding they have, a leap of faith if you will.
So, things come full circle. The default folk philosophy which was Christian in previous ages is now based upon a rationalism that itself is obsolete. Pascal described this a long time ago. He agreed that God does not reveal himself through objective evidence. He called the atheist intellectually lazy because he refuses to consider whether God might reveal himself through other means.
I did not say that God is the variable, and I knew I should of types variable(s). The question that remains as long as no one can prove that God does not exists is: How do people act? What universal rights do all people have? The scientific method does not disprove God.
You said that the fact that gifted mind could not disprove the existence of God make him real. I'm telling you that's not how it works. You don't have to prove something doesn't exist, you have to proof it does.
