I never said anything about it being meritorious...but it would be an issue, especially if it was in multiple states.
BTW...I disagree strongly with opinion on judges...I've worked campaigns for Judges before...I've seen how they get their funding, I've seen their ethics, I'd bumped elbows with them in balls at the Governors mansion...not impressed with them...
And the underhanded and frankly juvenile tactics in local judicial elections are completely out of control....what an embarrasment to think such highly educated people sink to such trashy levels.
The guy I worked for that ran for Judge was a Democrat Lawyer BTW...
LOL he was running for Judge of the DWI court and he drove home drunk every night.
He also ed poor people every chance he got behind their backs all the while claiming to be their best buddy to their face.
And I met a lot of Democrat defense attorneys during that period..and Judges running for election...

Why change the comparison? Why not just ask if it was alleged in multiple states that Sarah Palin needed to show her birth certificate to prove she meets the citizenship requirements, would I be in favor of her showing her birth certificate to a court and getting it over with?
