Yeah Split decision, was Cecil Peoples up in the house on that episode?? 30-27 Junie, that was not hard to score.
Good episode this is a good season. Junie looked alright, he needs a lot of work though. He had a guy in front of him that had god awful stand-up and had no power or athletic ability to get the takedown and he could not KO him. But Junie is talented, and at only 23 has a lot of upside. Just needs to keep his head together and not blow it.

I was impressed with Junie's striking, but as mentioned he needs alot of work and when he fights someone with better cardio he may get gased. That cutting weight really came back to bite him. It will be interesting to see how he matches up with a wrestler.
Delgado's does have a great chin, but his lack of power and aggressiveness cost him that fight. Junie was clearly gassed and Delgado did not take advantage. Even though his shots are not powerful he could have came with some body shots to try and bring him down.
From what i saw in Junie's tryout match, his ground game is pretty solid. He has the tools to be a UFC fighter, he's only 23. I hope he is not a head-case the rest of the show and just fights.
I think most people want him to get his head straight because he has potential to be a good fighter, but at the same time we want to see him get his ass kicked to shut his mouth. He was right when he said it sucks when a guy talks alot of and can back it up. His only downfall will be himself and how he handles the hype if he makes it.
im glad he apologized to noguiera after the match. im also glad that he shook hands with his opponent at the end, sportsmanship goes a long way, even for talkers.
Spitting at your opponent and then not being able to finish him in 3 rounds.
Lame. this guy. Sorry doesn't mean from this guy.
At least the Diaz brothers can back it up.
Well...one of them can.![]()
Neer won.
Thats a problem with a lot of 145/155 guys. Not much muscle behind their strikes.
So far I like what I see...still way early in the show but he has my attention.
There are more blog posts, threads in forums and comments on Junie than the fight this weekend.
Holy-shiz-nit.
There is even fighters on the ug calling him out asking promoters to set up fights with him.
And that is why he didn't get booted.

This past Wednesday's episode of "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir," which featured controversial cast member Junie Browning's quarterfinal fight with Roli Delgado, scored 1.7 million viewers, an increase of nine percent from the season's first five episodes.
Additionally, the Oct. 22 episode had an audience 35 percent larger than the season low of 1.1 million that tuned in for the third episode of the reality series on Oct. 1.
With the recent ratings revival, in doubt aided by the antics of Browning, the eighth season of the show is now averaging 1.6 million weekly viewers.
It's kind of like people stopping to watch a car wreck. Fortunately, Junie is a good fighter.
funny but true
FYI...Junie's little brother tried out for TUF 9.
hahahahaa
Dana said no
Also...we're at the part of the season where we are traditionally shown a young stud who is quiet...happens every season.

What was he doing with his hands? It was like he thought he was wearing striking pads or something.
shonie carter?
but Jules whole stance was garbage. For being a striker he had his legs close together he kept doing weird with his arms as if he was gonna block a high kick that never came. I don't know why dana said the fight sucked I thought it was good standing up besides the fact that one guy just stood there and got kicked in the stomach over and over
The sub was sick, but is this guy seriously top 5 in the world on the ground???
Jules was terrible.
