No players from top-tier NBA teams should be allowed to play any non-NBA basketball.
Team USA winning at the Olympics is hardly an accomplishment when you really think about it.
thanks MANU for having surgery during the late summer and not in Dec.and be out for the rest of the season

It is if you payed attention to the gold medal game. The world is catching up quick. The original dream team wasn't anything to talk about, they had no one to play against.
That would make it difficult to get international players. To the international players, the NBA championship is small compared to the Olympics and the World's. If you draft or acquire a top international player, you sometimes get a great bargain but at the same time, you have to deal with them playing for their country.
In a way, you cheat the draft when you get an international player. Top guys like Manu and Parker would have been Top 10 draft selections if they had played in the US. But because they didn't they were late first and second rounders.
The world compe ion has really stepped up as well. The Spaniards have a damn good team as do the Argentinians (although Argentina is on their downside due to age).
And I think after this last summer, with all the public interest, the Olympic championship will start meaning something to the American players as well.
How about write a stupid ass thank you letter to the jackass GM. That keeps giving all of our good players and draft picks up to our rival teams? Scola, Josh Howard possibly getting Barbosa and giving him away to the Suns. Cutting Salim Stoudamire...I could go on and on but it does me no good, just makes me even more upset..I say we just need to get Ginobili back heathy, let Salim get heathy and re-sign him? Because he is the piece to the puzzle that we need!! Someone who can create his own shots and is a very good three point shooter. Then get Ginobili back around that time and domminate!!!![]()
And Pop was so mad at him . . .![]()
no point in arguing... this thread is a waste of space
I am sure he just kissed his lips after he said no I will do what I want
Geez, people are already ing about being 0-2? It's two freaking games. It isn't like we are at the end of the season trying to fight for a playoff spot. If anyone thought this season was going to be gravy, then they really don't know basketball. I like that the Spurs are having to face early difficulty. It is better than having to face it late in the season. This can only help them get used to trusting and playing with each other. You can't rely on your stars all the time. This is the time for these role players to step up and prove themselves. It isn't going to happen overnight.
Hang onto your hat: people here will when we win.
OP, you are the latest recipient of the Biggest Tool on the Board Award. I have not read one post by you that is even partly reasonable.
Like clockwork.![]()
Love how people melt down after only the first two games.
it's a he??? i thought it read mrs purs
Useless thread
Rest up SUPERMANu. Planet Playoffs awaits your return.
Have you people been watching the games? I'm the biggest Manu fan on the planet but I don't think his absence had too much to do with these two losses. Offense hasn't been the problem, the Spurs have scored enough points to be 2-0. Their defense and rebounding has sucked.
Bowen and Thomas have been flat out awful and guys like Bonner and Finley aren't helping on D either.
i trade his ass now
he costs us 5 rings damn it, then again parker costs us 4 rings during that fakers 3peat
I only care about San Antonio Players.
You guys are so easy to mess with.
Nah . . . he picked him up at the airport when he arrived from China and they chatted for 30 minutes.
Yep, he was pissed off as . . . moron.
Thank you for this complete FAIL of a thread.
