I wouldn't worry about it. If the Spurs team just plays to have fun out there, they will not only develop their young guns, they will probably win a few games they aren't expected to. Relax and enjoy the season. Example; Lakers weren't expected to go as far as they did last year. Being an underdog means less pressure. No one has counted out the Spurs, even before TP went down.

good point. No pressure is on these guys to go out and win games when no one expects them to. All the pressure is on the fully healthy teams out there.

    Lets see what happens

Between 7-8 and 9-6. I really think Pop will stay true to his word and play the energy guys. , they brought the Spurs back into the game against Miami.

Imagine if Tim, Tolliver, Hill, Farmer, Mason, and Ime got the most minutes at their position? Then dead weight like Fin wouldn't have a chance to over the team. Since Pop is apparently looking for offense right now, he needs to realize Bowen is better on O than Fin right now.

Anything 5-10 or better would be a success.

great news is no Lakers, no Celts no Hornets ...in that stretch
Thats bad news because the spurs will have a difficult time beating those teams later with a healthy team and they will need to win as many games as they can after they get healthy.

Unless the Mavs decide to trade Dirk to us for Bonner and a couple picks, I'm not sure the Laker analogy holds up.

You are trying to offer encouragement though, so thank you for that.

Against the Suns, Blazers, Mavericks, Wolves and Heat they were 1-4, and they had Parker for 4 and a quarter of those games. Without Parker, they'll be lucky to keep the same pace.

3-12, and I might be a little too optimistic.

Yeah, that's the whole point. When the Spurs are healthy, they are expected to win every time out, just like the Lakers or the Celtics. We're nervous fans, they are pros. As I said, if they just have fun out there, they will be fine. No pressure. Back in 2002-03, Lakers were under .500 until January. (Shaq was out first month). They still won 50 games and got to second round vs. Spurs.

Um, so we won 1 game in double OT with a buzzer beater and 55 from Parker.

I'm calling 0-15, and maybe one win if they're lucky.

they had a guy named Kobe, the Spurs are built around Tim with Manu and Parker creating off the dribble. The Spurs will have to fine more creative ways to manufacture offense without these guys. I think they'll be fine only if rebounds are address and the young guys can play and produce. Pop keeps playing Finley when he needs to give these younger wings an opportunity to develop, they can't be much worse than what Fin is doing at the moment. Finley is basically a spot up shooter at best now and if he can't hit shots, he needs to sit and atleast allow some energy to carry the team at the least develop some guys for next season.

A lot of people are worrying about the next 15 games
But if you think about it, if our rookies perform well and Gel together we will be a deadly team after March
