Man, when I read the le, I thought he dumped his contract and went to live in Turkey, just like the Center from the Bulls did, forgot his name.
Kosta Koufos, I think this kid has a future, he'll play well.
Probably an ill parent. I guess he has to go, but...

The Utah Jazz announced Monday that Mehmet Okur has left Utah to return to Turkey to deal with a family illness. The move raises questions about who will start for the Jazz at center Tuesday against Philadelphia.
Kyrilo Fesenko would start at center for the Jazz, but he has to travel to Canada to resolve a visa issue and won't play until Friday.
Jarron Collins is out with a right elbow injury. That means rookie Kosta Koufos could start, because Jazz coach Jerry Sloan likes to bring Andrei Kirilenko and Paul Millsap off the bench, but the team is considering all options.

I hope his family is okay, but I also hope the Jazz lose every game he misses!

Has there been any indication as to how long he could possibly be gone? Days? Weeks?
I thought they were centerless before Okur left...
Jazz can get away with Boozer/Millsap for a while, Kirilenko can pinch in at PF too.
Kyrylo Fesenko.
He's no Marcin Gortat, but he's no Primoz Brezec either.
Sorry but we wouldn't take Bonner for free. Well, maybe we could use him as the court sweeper.
