Late games make long days...

I love Vegas, I just don't go there thinking I'm going to leave with more money than I arrived with.
i hate the west coast time zone
...waiting![]()
Well, I know I sound crazy, but I think the Spurs run up the score. (Saying that in my highly biased opinion right now). If they do, we might get to see the Ahearn guy. Never heard of him before and I am quite curious.
I have a feeling Mason is going to have a huge game tonight.![]()
I was thinking the same thing....![]()
this will be a tough game, but not because it's against the Clippers..they're one of the worst teams in the NBA..it's because we're playing a back-to-back on the West Coast..that will be the key here..
the Clippers have 2 big men that block shots, but they're both below average individual defenders..Duncan should be able to dominate them, but he seems to do worse against the worst compe ion and better against the better defenders..
the Clippers play no perimeter defense, so our shooters need to step up tonight..I want to see a lot of driving, since they don't have anybody that should be able to stop us from penetrating..
the Clippers are a streak shooting team, nothing else..Baron has a lot of talent, but he's easily satisfied with chucking up 3's all game..all of their perimeter players are streaky shooters..Al Thornton can drive to the basket, but he's known for his poor shot selection and being a ball-hog..
the Clippers also have chemistry and coaching issues right now..Baron and Dunleavy are having serious problems, Kaman looks like he has given up and wants out of LA(and there are plenty of rumors around)..so Pop should be able to out-coach them..
it's all about how we play on this back-to-back..we're the better team, even without Parker and Ginobili, but that's a big loss as usual..hopefully a close, grind-out game, since that usually favors us, especially here..
If my Spurs win tonight, i'll open my Blue Label Johnny Walker !!!!!!
they need to beat these beatable teams til manu and tp comes back. And plus, seeing the spurs win is my stress reliever after working the whole day.
Hope Fin and Bonner comes through again.
I really want to see us win a back-to-back..we should have beat Milwaukee, but we choked..the effects of the back-to-back were evident in that game, since we choked at the end..
Is it better than the green one ? For me it will be a royal salute![]()
I hate playing west coast teams...
meh... it's a november game. who gives a ?

Gameday: Spurs vs. Clippers
The Spurs will try to string together their third-straight victory tonight when they take on the Clippers in Los Angeles.
One thing to keep an eye on tonight is Spurs rookie point guard George Hill, who has started the last four games. Hill left Sunday's game in Sacramento with 4:17 left in the third quarter and did not return.
Hill missed part of the preseason and the first two games of the regular season with a thumb injury. On Nov. 10, Mike Monroe of the Express-News pointed out that Hill has been playing with a flexible splint on his sprained left thumb.
The key to the Spurs' last two victories, as it has been in their best seasons, was defense.
Tim Duncan said after Sunday's 90-88 victory over the Kings that the Spurs' goal is to hold teams under 20 points per quarter. The Spurs did that in two out of four quarters, with the Kings scoring 19 points in the second quarter and 16 points in the fourth quarter.
In Friday's 77-75 victory over Houston, the Rockets scored 19 points in the third quarter and 13 points in the fourth quarter.
I didn't want to start a new thread, but does anyone know why Ian's not on the Toros roster? I don't know anything about the D-League. Their first preseason game is Wednesday.
I was wondering why he's listed as 'Projected Inactive' in the E-N game preview. I would think he's on one roster or the other but I don't know much about the D-League either.
Where's ChumpDumper?
maybe Pop's having second thoughts about it?
If Hill can't play, the Spurs would have to use Mason at PG for significant minutes. Then udoka would have to play it seems to me.
Its taking forever for this game to get started Jesus..
Just got an interview with Hill on the Clippers pre-game. He spoke well, said Parker's advice to him about filling in was to stay humble and work hard.
Cool, now Sean has joined the color guys.
Sean said Manu is 2-3 weeks away, Parker 3 to 4.
Bowen torturing Sean.![]()
any mention of hill's thumb?
