Lakers were getting ate up the whole game; it was more so of the inability of Memphis to close as opposed to L.A taking the game over.
Odom cries wayyyy too much, if he didn't he'd get more respect. He wonders why he doesn't get calls, if he'd STFU he would. Bynum scored mostly on direct set ups for dunks. Pau was ok, Walton played well. He was a bit out of control thinking he would score one on two, on one sequence. Other than that he was solid. Kobe was Kobe although Mayo played good D on him.
Mayo played really good; he picked apart the D for the most part. They sat Mayo and Gay too long in the fourth. That's a coaching mistake. Because of that, they had a four minute plus scoring drought part of which Gay and Mayo were on the court. They were cold.
Memphis has a nice point guard tandem; I really like Lowry's control. M. Gasol could've played alot better, he had nerves you could tell.
Darko and Warrick played really good. Warrick played good D on Odom and contribued on the other end. Darko played good D on Bynum and dunked on Gasol early. Darko played tough, it was a nice watch. Ross took an ill advised three late in the fourth which came back to haunt them.
Gotta take a win any way you can in this league, but they didn't look that well tonight.
(Also, Spurs win!!)
