Wizards Thinking Of Sitting Arenas All Season?

Ivan Carter of the Washington Post has reported that there have been whispers that the Wizards could choose to sit Gilbert Arenas for the entire season.

Arenas originally targeted Dec. 1 as a possible comeback date, but remains on the shelf with not clear date in sight.

They should bring him back ASAP, if for no other reason because if they wait until he's fully healed, he'll be up around three bills from sitting on his ass playing Halo 3 and online poker 14 hours a day. Last year in the playoffs Zero looked like Khalid el-Amin. I can't imagine how larded-up he'll be after a full season off.

Might as well is not like the Wizards are making the playoffs. Let him take his time and make sure he is 100% healed.
