The constant on-court Geico commercials.
This man seriously calls himself "humble Billy"?
You're all wrong.
$7.50 Bud Lights are annoying as . It's seriously $0.50 in materials. Bring that price down, ers.
7.50? Damn cheap. 10.50 Shen I went this Sunday. And the Clipps did none of this cheesy crap.
I (almost) agree*. They are very rarely homers. Brad Davis and Matt Pinto are horrid, but Followill, Ortegal and Cooperstein are as good as any group in the NBA.
*I love any game with Jeff Van Gundy doing color.
LOL... we couldn't even sell out game 1 of the WCF against Utah 2 years ago or have any kind of crowd participation in game 6 of the 05 Finals. Spurs fans live in glass houses with respect to the crowd level in our arena.
There is nothing $10.50 about domestic beer. That's robbery.
last night at the game the AAC had technical issues, meaning almost the entire first half there was no Humble Billy and no stupid videos.
The drumline played a whole lot more instead, but it actually wasn't bad, and it gave the place kind of a college arena feel.
It was the most blissful 30 minutes I've ever had at a Mavs game.
Not being able to tell the difference between J-ho and the horse mascot.![]()
Damn, wish I would have gone last night
The idiots who cheer for the losers.
Never been to a game there. I am always struck by how cool (futuristic) the place seems to look from the outside, when they do the crowd filing in shots before the game and during commercial breaks. Kinda looks like a Joel Schumacher set that doesn't suck.
It's a great arena. I wish the Spurs could have built something even close to it. The Toyota center isn't even close.
That said, what's the differnce between AAC during a Mavs game and a porcupine?
Yeah, I sat in the lower part of Section 329 last night. Even up in the upper deck, the sight lines are very good.
Yep, if there is one thing Cuban brought to the Mavs it was flash.
I dunno, what is the difference between the AAC during a Mavs game and a porcupine?
Wait wait...a porcupine has less pricks?
Nah, I disagree you're closer to the action in the Toyota compared to the the other two arenas. It has a more intimate feel. The other cool thing about the TC is you can walk around 3/4 of the arena and see the action from the upper concourse without being at your seat.
When the consequence of that is having to watch the Rockets play basketball, it's not worth it.
It's worth it when they play well or if you're a visiting Dallas fan because the Mavs always seem to shoot lights out at the TC.![]()
I was going to vote for, "They assume victory at home", but that wasn't an option.
Cuban didn't build the AAC. It was planned, approved, and paid for before he bought the team.
Someone else was close. A porcupine has the pricks on the outside. It's an old Corvette joke. I just didn't want the Mavs fans to be thrown off by my having been nice for a couple of posts.![]()
