I dont get why people here hate on Tony so much. He's been our main man all season long.
Only thing he has to work on this year is stop turning the ball over so much. I dont remember the last season where he has turn the ball over so carelessly.
Manu is dominating this game, but he has 2 horrible 3 attempts where he gave the Lakers a break..they haven't been able to stop him, so he needs to keep the variety in his offense..don't give LA a break by taking horrible shots like that..
as for the first half..
Lakers bigs really aren't that scary..they aren't really using their size advantage, both guys are just making short jumpers(including jump hooks from Bynum) and a few long J's(Gasol)..
Kobe remains the guy that scares me on their team..his playmaking ability, and his 2nd half dominance in games is the scary part..we'll see how we can respond to his attack in the 2nd half..
Duncan needs to remain aggressive..he scored every time he was aggressive, except for one play, where it looked like he got fouled without a call..
rebounding is currently 13-13, and they only have 1 offensive rebound..this should go up obviously, since neither team is currently missing..we haven't been getting outrebounded though, which is encouraging..so far, of course..

I dont know about you Spurs Fan.. but this is going to be a great Western Conference Finals
Lakers vs Spurs
Correct
Phil is giving shooters their looks and cramming defenders into the paint. Looks like he doesn't believe in Bonner the hero...
LOL the Laker bigs are straight abusing your team. What you want them to score 100% of the points?
The Spurs have shown, by giving up 60+ pts, that they are clearly not the same team they used to be. Way too perimeter oriented, these kind of teams never win championships. Never.
I think that's a sign of tiredness in his legs, like the way he missed those two layups at the end against Orlando.
He's probably at that stage of the season where his body wants a fortnight off, but he has to fight through it for his second wind.
Laugh at me but props to bonner for somehow holding his own out there.
manu 19 points in 13 minutes, 3 of 5 from long range, a good sign. he's been frustrated with his 3ball for the past several games. 60 points at half-time for lakers-bad sign for spurs.
Philadelphia playing great ball.
Don't we play them next?.
Yes, we all know Luc Longley was an unstoppable force for the Bulls in the 90s...
thanks i didn't see it result tp cooled off and stopped to be agressive in the 2
What does it say about the Lakers that they gave up 63pts then? Oh, and where's all the "Sasha can shut down Manu" talk? Sasha can't carry a healthy Manu's jockstrap.
Once again, Tim is playing 2v1 against your bigs. He was meant to have Scola or Splitter or Mahinmi beside him by now, but we got ed 3 ways.
Agreed that perimeter-oriented teams don't go far though - we badly need a serviceable, athletic big to put next to Tim.
LOL @ one half analysis for determining a season.
FOH!
Lights out shooting by both teams. Can they possibly keep it up?
Spurs have missed a few rotations, but our effort doesn't suck.
Lakers gave us more open looks.
Defensive edge, Spurs; offensive edge, Lakers.
Go Spurs, Go!
luckily, no foul trouble for the spurs. they'll be able to pick up the defensive intensity in the second half.
Well, same 'ol, same ol, Spurs the lead with 50% from the arc, 7/14 at the half.
This gonna be a game with both teams in the 120s?
Sixers have won like 6 games in a row and Brand is out.
everybody is shooting great tonight except tim
That's why they're winning
Not having the Machine to guard Manu this game is really hurting the Lakers.
Glad to see Obiwan Ginobili is back. What is his season high this season?
this is a very exciting game-too bad i can't view it.
Has SA been shooting this many jumpers all season?
27pts against the Hawks
