    May 3, 2001, Salt Lake City, Utah: Don Nelson and Calvin Booth celebrate after the Mavericks erased a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat Karl Malone and the Jazz, 84-83, in the deciding Game Five of their first-round series. Booth scored the winning layup.

    Dallas was making its first post-season appearance in 11 years and dropped the first two games in Utah to fall into an 0-2 hole. The young Mavericks then proceeded to reel off three straight wins to shock the Jazz and move on.

    Dirk is one of the toughest guys in the league, he just doesn't act like a ing thug like some of the bags who are considered "tough".

    I think even Dirk forgets that he's tough sometimes. Drive to the basket more and take the contact. You're just gonna walk off whatever they do to you anyway.

    Nash stretched the definition of "we" in that quote. He was horrible that game. As was Karl Malone.

    Finley had by far the best game I've ever seen him play.

    People forget just how good he was in his prime. Similar game to Jason Richardson, but quite a bit better.
