I think most Spurs fans would want to face the lakers at full strength - if not for compe ion's sake, to avoid the waterfalls of excuses.
Bynum being out for the year is not the concern here. Even if he comes back, it'll take him atleast half a season to hit his groove which he has done the previous two years.
I guess Bynum not at full strength will hurt Lakers more than him being out.

First of all, I hope he's not out for the season. I don't wish that on anybody.
However, if that did become the case....the Lakers would be a little bit vulnerable and they still have the most road games left in the season. So there's a possibility they could lose the #1 seed in the scenario.
I would disagree with that.
The Spurs still have a chance with the Lakers all together..but if Bynum is out for the season (I don't think he will be)..the Spurs will win the West.

it's never good when anyone gets hurt, hope hes back soon.
Do you believe in Karma? I certainly do.
That was my first thought too!
Hopefully it is nothing serious and he will be back soon. Injuries suck.
karma's a
Karma is an evil goddess meant on making things right.
I highly doubt he'll be out for season..I'd be really surprised..
But they did need career years out of most of their role players.
Odom, Sasha, Farmar, Radmanovic, and Walton were playing far better than they have this year.
And it certainly didn't hurt them that Manu was playing on one leg, allowing them to put anybody they wanted to against him without that player getting torched.
None of that is to say that they wouldn't still be the favorites. But it's not apples and apples either.
If karma were real it would have taken Gasol out instead.
I hope Bynum's ok.
Sissy.... I mean, did you see Kobe's face on that video? "Whoops?" doesn't quite work I think.
Even MRIs can miss things. Mahinmi had 8 before getting his ankle surgery and the first 7 all seemed to indicate no structural damage...
+1
and we will suffer for it this season.![]()
Nah, Kupchack will pull this one off instead:

Bynum and the Lakers fans can shove it up their collective asses, love, Gerrard Wallace.
Nice to see there is an Indonesian as well in this forum...I am also an Indonesian living in LA. Cheers...
why was the big vagina crying though? you know.... sasha.
Dude was in some pretty serious pain. I would think it would be premature to say it is just a sprain at this point. I don't know what he did to Gerald Wallace, but it's not cool to wish anything bad on anyone.
Injuries are part of the game though. Manu's ankle was jacked up through the playoffs last year and you can't make excuses. You just make due.
I feel bad for him. Hope he gets healthy.
i hope it's nothing so serious that a surgery and half a season of rest won't help.![]()
