I'd say it's Gerald Green time.
LOL, Carlisle would sooner eat out a pig's asshole than give Gerald Green a fair shot.

In defense of our beloved coach, are there really minutes for Green to be had?

Barea/Kidd occupying the 96 minutes devoted to point guards

Wright/Terry/Howard occupying the 96 minutes devoted to 2/3.

I personally think Wright is better than Green. Could take Barea out of the rotation though, give of Terry's minutes as backup PG and that frees up green minutes.

and hasn't Green been in a suit lately? Is he inactive or injured? someone inform me!

Yeah there's nothing I love more than to see Dirk surrounded by 4 complete non-factors on offense, which happens alot when Jet & Josh are out of the game.

With Terry out, expect alot more Breath and Matt Carroll. Because those guys can "play defense".

It's one thing if the kid goes out there and falls flat on his face and doesn't help the team. I think he deserves a shot at regular minutes and a spot in the rotation, especially with shots available now that JET is out. They're saying three weeks.

Four of the next eight they should be able to win without Terry regardless. That's 4-4 worst case scenario. Then if they could just split the remaining four, that's 6-2. Some coaches are inflexible, but I was glad Carlisle had finally settled on a rotation, even if GG wasn't in it, and let Kidd run the offense more. He's been stubborn about using GG and I think JET's injury makes that continued stubbornness indefensible. Let's hope events force him to drop that resistance.

gerald green seemed to be playing well when he was given a chance at the beginning of the season. I really dont understand why hes not playing. he was putting up something like 10ppg off 46% shooting in 15 min

It's funny cuz when you look at the games where Green has played the most minutes, the Mavs have lost nearly every single one of those games. I bet that leads Carlisle to mistakenly believe that GG hurts the team, but take another look at those games and you'll see that the entire team was playing like ass for both of those stretches. Carlisle has give Singleton significant minutes when the team was playing well, he's even given Shawne Williams that opportunity. But Gerald Green has only been called upon when the team is playing horrid and Carlisle has literally zero other options available to him. Which is completely unfair.

I'd love to see what Green can do when Dirk/Kidd/etc. are playing their A games.

Green shooting 70% against former teams this year.

Boston coming up on Thursday, another former team for Green.

    FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

if JET is out for 3-4 weeks doesn't that force our hand at making a trade to try and stay afloat?

Our beloved JET breaks a finger, out for the 2nd half.

We ponder how long he will be out

    Get well soon JET

AND CMON MAVS RALLY TONIGHT (down 50-48 @ half to Bulls)
Is this the same finger that JET used to punch Finley's manhood?

I am also a big Green fan, but there are times when he does look lost on the court. Wright is a more composed player right now. But yes, if I see George and Carroll get extended minutes above him, I will be pissed.

Is Gerald Green really that good? He had his chances in Minnesota and Houston last season and they didn't think much of him. Maybe those teams were wrong, but you would figure if he was decent, he would have got playing time on either of those teams.

Hard to know when you don't play him and don't let him get in any kind of rhythm... You already know what you're getting with Breath... why not give the kid a chance and see what happens?

was it his sac punching hand? Michael Finley is curious

BTW, I have no remorse for him....whenever the Mavs are losing and things aren't going their way, Terry has a history of committing cheap and dirty fouls.

Who else slides their feet under a shooter on every shot other than Bowen?

Seriously, what is spurfan's obsession with Bowen? He's not good at all. If he played for Milwaukee of Charlotte, nobody would know who the he is.
