Amazing half. We held Boston to 40, that's great. Garnett and Pierce both already with 3 fouls. Dirk with 20 points, amazing. If he has converted 2 Ft's more, he would have had 22... but still great night for him. It really seems he wants to give Garnett some payback!
1st half thoughts:
Celtics definitely didnt play their A game, but I felt our Mavs left some points on the scoreboard as well, we too can play better.
The whistles seemed somewhat favorable toward us, or maybe the refs decided not to let Boston get away with their shoving handcheck bull tonight. I hope the whistles dont drastically shift to Bostons side in 2nd half.
Cmon Mavs, dont break my heart tonight. let me sleep easy for a week knowing our Mavs beat the champs, even if fool's gold. I dont WANNA go to bed hearing mono and Brick call us the 40 minute Mavs tonight. CMON boys.
