All right before the trade deadline . . .

Nothing definitive has even happened yet
Yes.
Wait untill it's clear that's not a serious matter.
Man this is getting weirder by the hour. WTF is up?![]()
I had a dream about losing Manu last night... I hate foreseeing the future sometimes.
are you allowed to trade injured players in the NBA?
Please tell me your 2 sources are Jeff McDonald and his imaginary friend.
Not as much as you are allowed to trade (mentally)-injured posters.
I can only think of two things.
1. He did something non-basketball related to hurt himself within the last couple of days.
2. Whatever it is has been bugging him for a while and someone reached the decision that he would only do more harm to himself if he tried to keep playing on it.
I haven't been this let down since Uwe Blab turned me down for an autograph...
Did Manu practice the last practice before the NY game?
My theory: this allows the Spurs to say, "We can't give up both Mason and Hill when we might be down Manu..."
Subs ute Uve with Matt Othick and you know how I feel now.
Hear that!
I really hope you're right, but the Spurs could have just as easily said "that's too much to give up".
I'm a total spurs fan and I'm not saying they actually do mislead and confuse or make up rumors about injuries. But everyone says how classy the Spurs are(and I agree) but wouldn't lying about injuries to better yourself be un-classy?? I don't necissarily believe this is the case but thats a major running contradiction in these forums.
Hopefully. Unlikely but hopefully.
THen New Jersey or whoever else says " then we don't have a deal"
I think New Jersey is dealing from a point of strength here...
It would be a sheisty move if the Spurs leaked a rumor about a season ending injury to keep him from a trade. Isn't that like joking about your kid dying? Plus, couldn't teams just require him to take a physical?
we'll we will know in 21 hours if this is a legit injury or a trade ploy....
Not sure if you are being sarcastic with that question, but if you are serious I believe the traded player has to pass a physical or the trade is voided if I am not mistaken
I think their strength is something of a front. They're hemorrhaging money. I think Carter is gone, regardless. They're just trying to salvage 50 cents on the dollar.
God time cant be going by fast enough...This really blows right now...
People forget that New Jersey is desperate.....really desperate.
Nothing yet on Ole, La Nacion or Clarin... the Argentina newspapers... *very* strange...
