Wrong again. You're assuming way too much.

And yet you still are having problems responding to my posts based on the content and are making assumed generalizations about me. Nice job.
Hrmm.. Let's see. I mention your posts were showing a derogatory at ude, which they were and still are. You disagree. I start discussing the meaning of at ude and how it applies in this cir stance, and you start accusing me of focusing on you instead of what's in your posts. Um, I was addressing what was in your posts. You were asking how it applied, and I explained.

Not sure how responding to something IN your posts is not responding to content. Especially when for the rest of it, I'm providing more details than you.

oh, so you disagree that you were talking out of your ass?

then you apparently can't comprehend your own posts.
Correct, I do disagree. I made a mistake, you pointed it out, I accepted it. Big deal.

right. Who needs facts and data when trying to make a point. Making up is more fun for you any way.
Like I said. I don't start out with them because the vast majority don't give a crap about them anyway.

Take my word for it, you're an idiot.
Way to be what you accuse others of.

JJ wouldn't lose hardly anything if the NFL came to SA. There's no kicker.
Just because there's no real financial incentive (he'd lose money, but not a significant amount to him), doesn't mean there's no kicker. It's an ego thing with JJ.

that makes no sense in regards to this, but if UTSA isn't going strong, then an NFL owner wouldn't worry about them and throws your whole 'theory' out.
Well, if UTSA does unexpectedly badly in terms of attendance, merchandise sales, etc, than it won't make much of a difference. The point is that SA is in a bad position anyway, so any worsening of that position affects the potential.

corporations do. Please tell me you think if a corporation had the choice between giving money to an NFL team or the roadrunners that they would choose the runners.....
They'd do both. The NFL wouldn't get as much as they could otherwise, but still significantly (many times over) more than the Runners.

I edited my post accordingly talking about the new stadium that Benson wanted but none of that is what you said in your other post.

You said Hardberger got busted in violating NFL rules which is more of your ass talking.
I'll have to see if I can find the things I saw reported back then. IIRC there's a league rule saying you cannot discuss relocation during the active season, which is why Benson repeatedly told Harberger to talk to him after the season. Hardberger went very public saying he'd discussed it with Benson, and was going to sit down with him after the season (not really breaking the rule, but certainly skirting the spirit of it). Shortly after that is when Tagliabue basically said no way, no how were the Saints moving here.

There are no rules regarding where and when and to who an owner can talk to. When Benson was talking about moving the team to SA during the 2006 season, it was considered poor taste by many because of Katrina.

Benson was alluding to SA needing to build a brand new football stadium. Hardberger said the one we have is just fine and that was the end of that.

None of that had to do with the Cowboys, UTSA or anything else you try to pull out of your ass.

I won't defend whoever it was that called Marco's work. However, I find it ed up that he happens to work for the university and is talking all this trash about his place of employment.

Common sense tells us that if you were to do that for any company, that said company would have problems a employee tarnishing them on or even off hours.

All I know is that if you look up the blog "Christian Sings the Blues," you will note that a porn star chronicles his entire "work" for a year out in LA and he is a former UTSA b-ball star. I think this is a bigger claim to fame for the school than Bruce Bowen.

Hope I don't get banned for this...

I'm pretty sure there is, but since the bylaws are not available online that I can see, I can't verify that directly and have had a chance to look at any of the articles I read back then.

    And 2005 season.

Benson was alluding to SA needing to build a brand new football stadium. Hardberger said the one we have is just fine and that was the end of that.
I remember talk of a new stadium in New Orleans (Blanco brought it up in September). Don't remember any talk of a stadium in SA until the east side project in 2006 or 2007 that was proposed by someone convicted of fraud previously that I never took seriously. Link?

None of that had to do with the Cowboys, UTSA or anything else you try to pull out of your ass.
Errr... Just because you sound confused, I'll clarify. The Saints situation (the details of which are meaningless anyway) had a causal effect. The effect part was how much of a pro-SA deal the city got from the Cowboys.

Not necessarily WHY they got the deal, but part of why this deal is better than the last one, which the Cowboys said did not favor them enough.

goddam you are a focking idiot.

I said Benson wanted the new NFL stadium and that Hardberger told him no.

The stadium proposal that was put together by a private company that you are talking about is a totally separate issue. , you might also be thinking about the baseball stadium that the city/county was talking about when there was talk of the Marlins maybe moving here.

Hardberger: Dome or else for Saints

    LAST UPDATE: 10/28/2005 11:16:28 PM

    Posted By: Walter Pasacrita.

San Antonio Mayor Phil Hardberger said Thursday if New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson wants a new stadium as part of a plan to relocate the NFL team to the Alamo City, he can forget it and if that kills a future deal with the Saints, so be it.

Hardberger told the Express-News, "There have been general conversations along the lines that it would be nice to have" a new stadium, Hardberger said. "Let's say there have been some general hints that our standing would be improved if we said, We will build you a new, state-of-the-art stadium." Hardberger added that building a new facility with taxpayers money is not a good idea but there could be other ways to finance a new football stadium. "It could be, of course, that the state could get involved with that or it could be developers on their own right get involved with that," Hardberger said. "There are other ways stadiums get built. But as far as San Antonio being a player in the building of a new stadium, I wouldn't want to do that."

wow. talking about things you cant verify. shocker.

    you are an idiot.
I said I couldn't verify directly. Well, I could if I wanted to go to the public records office of wherever the NFL's charter and bylaws are registered. I haven't had a chance to look for a secondary source.

goddam you are a focking idiot.

Uhh, I specifically mentioned the project I remembered, which obviously was not any of the Marlins proposals. I was stating the stadium talk I remembered, and since I didn't remember one in reference to the Saints, I asked you for a link. Since you had the year confused, I needed confirmation on something I didn't remember.

That you for providing the link.

Heck, I spent most of my time on New Orleans boards during that time (met some really interesting people). No wonder the New Orleans stadium talk stuck clearer in my mind.

Like everything else you post, you have no source to back it up with except for your ass, so no, it really didn't have an effect whatsoever. You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about and are a ing confused idiot.

    Wrong again.

Pathetically hostile is like roadies coming in, talking out of his ass screaming "F you" at anything that moves.

I've got evidence here in this thread that you are a focking clueless idiot.

You obviously don't know what "pathetic" "hostile" or "entertaining" mean.

Depends on your definitions. Roadies is far beyond pathetically hostile in my book.

To me, saying "focking clueless idiot" or some derivation every paragraph is pathetically hostile. Especially when we've already established you have no idea if I'm being serious with anything or not. Really "fool" or "moron" would be a more approriate term. At least get some new material, man. It's starting to bore me.

And including "entertaining" in that last sentence is asinine since you have no idea what is entertaining to me. High subjective term, unless you believe that everyone should think exactly like you.

If you are being serious, then you are a focking clueless idiot. If you aren't then you are a focking clueless idiot. It's in Webster's. Look it up.

It's boring you? Nobody's forcing this "entertainment" on you.

No, I included it in the last sentence because you are a focking clueless idiot which leads me to believe you don't even know what is entertaining to yourself.

    Same you've been saying.

So, did you have fun arguing over semantics because you didn't want a term applied to your post, then stringing a discussion out until you could find something to prove wrong about it?
