Are Blazers fans overtaking Mavs fans as the douchiest fans in the NBA?
Blazer's fans are cuddly bunnies in comparison to Mavs fans

Chill out guys, I'm as much a spurs fan as much as you, just saying roy and aldridge aren't showing the energy they should've come in with especially with manu and duncan out

And I'm just saying that when Chris Paul goes off on someone, everybody talks about how good he is. When Tony does it, it's because the other team wasn't trying hard enough? Give Tony credit. He did it two nights in a row when the team needed it.

1 out of 2 aint bad...
One of the 27% who keep saying Bush was doing a good job !

    70 million votes.

    only 8 % didn't like Obama's address last night.

About 70% of viewers liked Obama's economic plan as he outlined it last night.

    Approval rating is about 70%

Voters by better than a 2 to 1 margin think correctly that the Republicans are obstructing not because of sincere policy differences but because of partisanship.

The only people left supporting Republicans and opposing Obama are the hard right wing deadenders who are a distinct minority.

Field goal percentage defense of 40.2%, 33.3%, 34.2%, and 37.6% the last 4 games.

Spurs Defense is back and there isn't anything that the rest of the league can do about it.

Well yeah obviously huge props to tp but I was talking specifically about Roy and Aldridge on the offensive end. They should've easily been able to score. Spurs defense was great tonight though.

    Good point, Spurs Dynasty!

It's good to see the Spurs defense back!

Also, TP deserves a lot of credit for back-to-back 30 point games. It amazes me how many people hate on him!! I don't get it!!

    Whatever.....go TP go!!!

Please keep the political stuff in the forum!

By the way, there are a lot more people supporting the Republicans than you think and what's being reported by the mainstream media.

ummm. contender? really? what were you smoking? lakers and spurs are the only contenders in the west.
Portland is still in the Top 8 in the WC, so they are still a contender for the le, that is, they would make the playoffs in their current #5 position.

Do they have a chance to win the WC le? Yes.

Do they have a REALISTIC shot at winning the WC le? No.

Like you said, it's gonna be the Lakers or the Spurs in the Finals, probably against the Cavs.

The greatest thing about this victory was to see Manu and Tim on the bench, they must be thrilled to see so many players stepping up like Bonner and Finley not to mention Parker.
This definitely could be the start of the traditionnal SPAM

Another poor shooting night for Mason.

Interesting that after his last-second shot in the Laker game, he went on a slump, had a great game in Washington, and now he's shooting poorly again.

Maybe he's the kind of player who needs a challenge, ala Horry?

    is that what Hollinger said?
Yeah where did that quote come from?

I love my Spurs and they did great tonight, especially Tony, but ....

    (1) no second big to help Tim defend the paint and defensive rebound (although obviously our d looks a heck of a lot better now -- but it needs to be proved that it will stay this good, especially against good teams)

    (2) Manu ankle injury looks like it could be a lingering problem. And that's why we lost last year to the Lakers.

    (3) Is Tim's injury going to be a persistent problem or is it temporary? Without a healthy Tim Duncan we are not even close to a top tier team.

    (4) related to 1 -- Bonner can't guard David West. Bonner can't guard Lamar Odom or Pau Gasol. He also can't guard Bynum (if Bynum returns). Thus, any team with a good second big spells trouble for us.

Can we really win with Bonner as a starter? Hard to believe.

Hollinger's formula , flawed as it may be, couldn't predict us to win it all. If his formula said that we were, I would think that it is more messed up than I already believe.

Whoever said that isn't being honest-- as much as I wish that were the truth.

Now, if Manu comes back to full health and Timmy is totally healthy, then we are close, but again that lack of a second big would hurt us. Oberto may not score as much, be he is a better team defender and plays better with Tim.

I wouldn't count the Celtics out yet! They are the champions and they will play like it in the playoffs!
