That was a multiyear deal. First one was definitely worth it. Neither of Butler's were.
Why do you say that squato?
That was a multiyear deal. First one was definitely worth it. Neither of Butler's were.
Why won't you answer my question about starter's minutes? You're just a fraud...save your rep and just admit you were wrong man.
What you gonna do if I don't, pu a? You gonna pour some more sand in your vagina? I know you're desperate for my verga, but you gotta wait just like everybody else.
Who I talk to is none of your business. If you don't like it, why don't you stop me? Oh, wait, you can't do about it.
You didn't mind when I rubbed my poronga all over your chin. Plus, I don't take advise from sore ass losers like you, so save it. Anyways, I was talking to another poster when you interrupted. Listen, I know you just can't stop thinking about me, but I gotta move on until I decide to slap you again.
Nothing pesonal, you just entertainmed me for a while and now I'll take a break until I decide to toy with your fragile mind again. I'll let you know when that is.
Because it's such a stupid question. It's like you've never seen Manu play before or something.
Manu plays limited minutes because he plays an aggressive almost wreckless extremely physical style of basketball in which he expends tons of energy, draws tons of contact when taking it to the hoop, and is frequently a defensive focus for both the interior and perimeter defenders. A style that is breaking his body down and often leaves him worn down or injured on a semi-frequent basis.
Pop limits his minutes in an attempt to keep him healthy and extend his career as long as possible.
Scola OTOH is not a defensive focus, does not play an overly physical style and is not the recipient of frequent beatings from the opposing defense due to being a focal point. On the contrary, he capitalizes on the beatings the actual stars on that team get.
I can't believe you needed that explained to you.
PS Bonner's minutes aren't limited to preserve his career either. It's just that, like Scola, and unlike Manu, he's a limited player who the team is better off with on the bench at times.
You aren't going anywhere...you're going to stay here and keep right on replying like I tell you...because you can't stop.
Who do you think you are fooling?
Assface.
Tu es joto?
Umm nice try "Dumbass", but I gave you more than one example of players who averaged only 29 minutes during their first full season of starting"...also multiple reasons why Scola isn't logging 30+ minutes as a starter this year, (which you obviously didn't WANT TO address because it destroyed your argument). Seriously you might as well just change your name to "cop out", because that's exactly what you're doing....just toting the company line huh.
Also to say Scola doesn't play a physical/wreckless style of basketball is like saying "I'm stupid and haven't watched this guy play at all the year". The only way Scola knows how to play is balls to the wall. His nickname isn't passion assassin for nothing.
Like I said above, your embarrassment could end if you simply admitted you had no ing clue of what you were talking about and you were wrong....I mean you didn't even address the fact that you said you would rather have Mahinmi over ScolaExplain that one Mr. Dumbass.
Your whole post above was a stolen post from a fellow poster and nothing else...sad really.
Oh yeah
P.S.
For the love of god, stop comparing Bonner to Scola, because just like another one of your fellow posters brought up......that's bullcrap. Bonner is nothing, but a 3pt shooter and that's pretty much it. Scola kills in the paint and rebounds like his hair is on fire. Whether your pride would allow you to admit it or not....Scola by a mile > than Bonner. Scola is simply a much complete player and stop pulling up season #s when Scola had to play with the ball stopping Tmac. Since Tmac has been out Scola is averaging like 14 and 12...Bonner doesn't touch that...He'll never touch that.

Dang, Scola is averaging 12 and 8. Nice...........
Um...yeah I already told you that discussing the Rockets is like analyzing a turd I just . It's not that you are making compelling arguments, they wouldn't be compelling even if I was interested in discussing the Rockets. Talk to me after they get out of the first round...
Basically everything that needs to be said about you, and what you know about basketball, was said when you chose TMac as your username. Ugh...
It's like concentrated dumbass. Why don't you befriend ElNono and get him to post on Rockets boards with you?
For the impaired........yada yada yada "I was wrong, but don't want to admit it" yada yada yada...I said mahimmi would be much better, yada yada yada...clearly I have no idea of what the I'm talking about....yada yada yada, I hated Bonner a year ago until he started draining threes and thought he would bail me out of this crap I got myself into with bashing Scola, but crap nobody is buying it.... god WHY!, WHY!.yada yada yada.
I thing that's pretty clear.
It's just 3 easy words
I....WAS....WRONG.
Ugh...it's like turd Kryptonite. Just sucks the life out of you with the stench and all encompassing aura of tynesss.
Seriously...instead of Gitmo we should have terorrists be forced to talk Rockets basketball with TMac and Luther. Would probably be a pretty high suicide rate among them, but at the same time we'd probably get a lot of confessions too.
You know seeing TMac's enthusiasm for discussing the Rockets teaches me a lesson...it lets me know that no matter incredibly ty and uninteresting you think something is...there is always someone excited and enthusiastic about it. No matter how ty, tedious and uninteresting it may be.
Life is pretty amazing when you think about it.
I like Scola because he is from my home country.
I also like whottt (and I don't mean that in a gay way) and I don't know why . . .
14 pts and 9 rebounds tonight. Ya he sucks.
Pretty much the same here.
-It's historically known that Celveland is weak on February Thursday nights.
-He scored all his points in garbage time.
-He missed a layup in warmups.
-Cleveland is focusing on the SA game, for whatever reason.
-He missed two FTs.
-Pavlovic didn't play.
-Cleveland' flight was late.
One of the above -or ALL of them- soon to come........
Bonner had 15 and 9 in the last Spurs Game. Without Tim Duncan and Manu even!
Incredible...that two guys of this caliber, capable of putting up these kinds of wholly unmatchable numbers, are playing in the NBA at the same time.
This is truly the Golden Age of the NBA, and we are truly blessed to be witnessing it.
Somwhere, Wilt is smiling.
It is truly ing amazing. 14 and 9...Holeeeeeee .
Will anyone else ever again attain both those numbers in the same game?
I'm thinking no.
Then again, you never know when Scola is on the floor...might see a 20-10 or something truly special like that.
Be sure to save that boxscore...it'll be a collectors item someday.
I was trying to think of the list of players capable of having a 14 and 9 game...not just currently in the league, but in all of NBA history.
You guys got any suggestions on any others players capaple of those numbers?
I think I saw Rafe LaFrentz come close to it once.
I think Eric Dampier has approached it a time or two.
Maybe um...some guy like Za Za Pachulia.
If Kwame hadn't been cursed with those damn injuries he might have pulled it off....he'd have definitely raised the bar.
Nazr Mohammed has flirted with the coveted 14 and 9 game which automatically precludes a player from sucking for life.
It's just damn hard trying to think of guys that could put up a 14 and 9...
I mean we are talking the elite of the elite here.
Holy ..check this ing out...
I think I might have found someone in Scola's league:
In the 99-00 season second year player Raef LaFrentz put up an astounding 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds a game...he also blocked over 2 shots a game but that's another story.
And he was only 23 years old....
A pity the tragic final years of his career. I personally think he could have been one of the all time greats...if only...
http://www.nba.com/playerfile/raef_l...eer_stats.html
And just to prove it was no fluke...Raef put those numbers on a poor team that I think had just about the worst record in the league.
Just imagine if he'd had 15-16 other All Stars surrounding him...I'm thinkin' he wins at least 7-8 les in a row.
Still no answer whottt. you have time to piss on scola but you wont stand by your 100% right statements. since you havent apologized for the clear provocation I have no choice but to moderate for you.
You are 100% wrong on your statements. you say "here's what I know about Argentina" . In this sentence you are referring to a country or government.
Then you say "they don't pay their bills" Are you referring to they the argentine people, or the government of Argentina, which took the decision to stop paying the external debt? there was no referendum, it was a unilateral decision. It was popular, but not enough for you to qualify all argentines as people who dont pay their bills. if you want to go by that fallacy and equate govt to people, then i can say that Americans are torturers. of course, I'd be lying just like you are.
as for the other 100% certain statement, it doesnt require even rudimentary analysis because it is clearly opinion. but just to indulge you, I'm quite sure that kobe/laker fans are proportionally a larger part of the American fan base than basketball fans are proportionally a (minuscule) part of the Argentine fan base. therefore, there are more homer assholes from America than there are from Argentina (and I'm not even counting the homer asshole mav fans, or the homer asshole spurs fans, to whom you can call yourself a proud member)
and since we're talking about the rockets, how come barry didnt put them over the top this year? just imagine if we had barry instead of finley eh? looks like I should drop the spurs and leave you at homer asshole instead, a spurs fan would be about the team and not the guy he identifies himself with (old, unathletic, washed up, pot smoking whiteboy- though at least barry was funny)
