Spurs D was AWOL tonight...NFW they win a 7-game series without D. If that had been the Lakers tonight, the Spurs would've lost by 30.

Trust me man..I'm not comfortable at all. This game sucked. We couldn't hit a thing...but I know the Spurs...we'll turn it around.

Why the does Pop always play Finley against his old team? Damn Finley has his worst games against them. Then again why the does Pop even play the OLD bum period. He is over the hill and 3' under. One good game and then 3 bad games does not a champion make!
At least Gooden will give us some help in the paint. We had a Free Pass all night for the Mavs. Bring David Robinson back because our frontline stunk like crap tonight! But, Pop loves the old guys.
Dirk is a monster in the regular season, especially against the Spurs, but he disappears in the playoffs...Mavs will probably get 8th seed and have to face the Lakers on the road in the first round...buh bye...
This isn't Tim's fault. Or Parker's. Or Pop's or even Finley's. THE WHOLE ING SPURS TEAM is pretty much turned into a big pile of . Now we can only hope they figure their problems out before the playoffs. Unless of course they keep playing this ty style of basketball, in which case they won't have to worry about the playoffs at all.

Timmy and Bonner's defensive rotations were awful today. Howard, Terry, and Kidd on that last play had all day to shoot.

if im a spurs fan i'm still worried that our worst defenders have been getting exposed and that our interior D is still really shaky.
if im a mavs fan, i kill myself because my team played incredible and still almost lost to a manu less spurs team. i dont think they make it past the first round against any of the other playoffs teams.
props to them though for playing a great game.

And I love Timmy, but he played too many minutes tonight. 39 is kind of unusual.
How can people here call out Drew Gooden for playing bad defense. That is what gets me when I've read all threads on his signing. The Spurs have been playing defense like that almost all season.
Tonight's loss is not a big deal. The Mavs just got a couple of shots here, a couple of shots there....no big deal...We are 2-2 on the season series with them. The Mavs actually played like they gave a tonight...
