    i was pretty happy that we got drew gooden. however i did have my reservations about him, after watching that interview, i must say, im getting excited.

    I laughed when he said he brings defense to the team when we know that's one
    of the things he needs to improve on..
    The majority of the board here knows that and wouldn't be surprised if he winds up in
    Pops dog house, due to his play.

    He sounds sincere and backed it up by turning down his Larry Bird rights. The guy has something to prove and on what better team in the NBA to prove yourself on than with Spurs.

    The whole Mike Brown, Pop and RC connection makes sense. The Cavs team is a mini spur team in the making and Drew was there to see them try to emulate the Spurs. Now he's here where it all started for Brown. It's come full circle for Gooden.

    Damn that's cool. I hope it works for him and the Spurs. I'd like to see him go Loco with a funky beard and look all ed up next to Timmy and grab some boards. YEAH!!!
