timmy had plantar fascitis during the 2006 playoff run but was an absolute beast in the mavs series.
hes not a 100% and prob wont be again this season.
but when the playoffs come, you can count on 21.
No, he had the 2 bad ankles in the '05 run. The PF was the next season, '05-'06, when they were trying for the repeat.

Thanks, 228, I knew you'd set it straight.
So 2004-5 was the ankle sprains, 2005-6 the pf, 2006-7 he was relatively healthy, same last year, and now the tendonosis, is that right? Time moves so quickly that it feels like the pf was only yesterday!
you're right.
Got them confused. Just remembered that Tim was injured.
But yeah, the pf was in 2006. In Game 7 against Dallas, Tim had a monster game - like 40 points 15 boards or something like that. And then we got killed in OT.
Half time report: The game is good, great view. Got a few hecklers sitting behind me, only one is annoying. People are booing on the legit fouls, like Artest slapping Tony.
I ahven't been in a game thread for a while and thought I might have been forgotten is all...
Nice to see all the bandwagoner, cliff-jumping dip s seem to have migrated elsewhere.![]()
You're right.
I got the injuries confused.
My apologies.

Moral of the story: let's hope he can bring it in the playoffs like he has before when bothered by nagging injuries.
Our bodies betray us. If it was a matter of desire, we'd still be starting Gervin.
Tim's hurt, and it's not going to magically get better just because it's the playoffs.
I miscalculated the time and missed the whole half.
with artest playing 1-on-1 basketball, and with team ball from the spurs, we should be taking this one home tonight.
Did you forget to change to daylight savings time? LOL.
Dude's got some unbelievable skills and drive, but you can tell he's playing with half a brain out there. He could never play for us, you just can't trust him out there.
Even more insightful moral - Tim Duncan is one of few players who, through his exemplary bball IQ, can adjust his game to compensate for injuries whilst remaining almost totally effective.
I think we'll see Tim passing to cutters more (hopefully from the high post - I think he's underutilised there), getting open for jumpers more, and only posting guys over whom he has a clear height or strength advantage.
My worry is on D where there's really no way to compensate for a lack of lateral quickness due to a bum knee, but if anyone can find a way to nullify the problem he will.
GO TIMMY GO!

You got it.![]()
I like what Bonner is doing on the boards but we seriously need him to hit shots out there if Duncan continues to struggle.
Maybe I'm hallucinating again, but when Tim was sitting at the table waiting to come in I'm sure his knee guards were bright blue... now they look black. WTF?
Looks like Parker and Finley will have to carry us tonight.
