    Stay with the discussion. We are talking about Gasol being the better fit for the Lakers than Dirk is. I don't think the Lakers will be as successful with Dirk than Pau. That's been the point.

    Dirk did win a championship in 2006, but that's besides the point.

    Anyway, Mavs just don't have the talent to hang with the Lakers today or most days. That + missed layuops, FT's by Dirk, and open 3's by JET and we're down by 15.

    Meh, I won't be too upset unless this gets really ugly.

    Lakers seem to forget about Gasol a lot..I have no idea why, but I've seen this in multiple Laker games this year..the guy has COMPLETELY dominated the game and is drawing double teams, but they're jacking up bad shots instead..

    the Lakers are possibly the best in the NBA, but their fans must be worried about having Farmar and Vujacic play significant minutes..neither one of them has a brain..

    This is why the Lakers need Odom back on the bench when Bynum's back. He brings a leader to the 2nd unit. Although having Bynum come off the bench as the leader sounds good too.

    As for the game, this is the way it's been all year when the Lakers meet the Mavs. Mavs always get a comeback on the Lakers.
